Pearl1910:I disagree, you need both when it comes to HP, both cordial and business relationship are needed. It takes the grace of God and wisdom to scale through any HP deal.... |

Doris4ever:From everything you have said, if it's true you haven't defaulted and you haven't breached any clause in the agreement, then your partner is just being greedy and just want to retrieve the car. Was the car Tokunbo? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 3:46pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Kingbrighto:This should be the last resort, like pearl said, if he's a military man, he should approach the barrack provost officers and explain his ordeal, they will call the partner and question him, at least, he needs to find out the reason behind the retrieval first before slamming the man lawsuit. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Doris4ever(m): 3:54pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Omoapena:Bro, I didn't default. If I was owing the man, there's no way I will drive the car from mainland to Obalende for inspection knowing fully well that it will be retrieved. I went there for the inspection because I was not on any default, even though no were in the agreement inspection is mentioned. For a year I have been on this deal, I have never taken the car to anyone for inspection. I was tricked to bring the car for inspection and the key was seized from me. Car was not tokunbo, I have spent a lot to put it in very sound condition. Even this week Wednesday, I spent over 100k to carry out a repair on the engine. Then, the next day been Thursday I took the car for inspection and the key was seized. I think I sent you pictures on Whatsapp. |

Doris4ever:I currently do not have access to my phone, so, from everything you have been saying, does that mean the man retrieved the car cox of the inspection he introduced which you weren't aware of or any other reason you think might have caused that? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Doris4ever(m): 4:22pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Omoapena:As I write this, I have not been able to speak directly with the man neither has he replied any of my Whatsapp messages since Thursday. The soldier that took the key from me is the only one talking to me on Whatsapp and no reason has been given as why the car was retrieved. Initially the soldier said, the man told him I defaulted in payment, when I showed him all the payment receipt I sent to the man including this week Monday payment, he was convinced I didn't default. But, the man himself has refused to talk to me. |

Doris4ever:HP deal can be traumatizing tbh, I think at this point, you need to act fast. goto the barrack where the car was retrieved from you and approach their provost, tell them you want to lay formal complaint against a military officer, narrate everything to them in details and let them know you have the agreement form you signed with your partner and you haven't breached any clause in the agreement. They will ask for the soldier details and probably your partner details, drop everything to them. Pls keep us updated and i pray everything turns out well for you. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Doris4ever(m): 5:18pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Omoapena:Okay, thanks for this suggestion. I will explore this as well. I'm waiting for my lawyer response later this evening as he wants to speak with the man first before we take further actions. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 5:35pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Omoapena:Lolz... U brought multiple quarrels with him to this thread. U guys might be cordial now, but u certainly weren't cordial then. My point still stands, u don't need to be cordial to do business. And not being cordial doesn't mean u insult or disrespect each other, it just means u aren't friendly or close. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 5:55pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Pearl1910:No, before he started creating issues with me, I did everything to keep the relationship good and smooth. Even at office work place, you have to keep friendly relationship with colleagues & boss to evade office politics, some things are needed for smooth relationship... |

Freshestng:Lagos Benin Ekpoma Okene Lokoja Abuja Lagos Ibadan Ife Akure Owo ikare Akoko kabba Okene lokoja Last time I travelled was last year January . You can go to Jibowu and take a survey from 5 transport drivers that ply Abuja route to seek the popular opinion . You can as well go early to the park look for a driver that is Abuja bound and follow him bumper to bumper ..let him know u will tip him. If u need to get to Abuja on time don't follow a driver from. God is good ..their speed limit delays time .. |
