Beside, teachers are not allowed to seized banned items for long. It's better to invite parents and handle it to them.

I remember for FGC Odogbolu when one of my classmates was rude to a teacher and the teacher went to the staff room for re-enforcement and came back with about 7 male teachers armed with thick long canes and they beat the living daylight out of the very strong A level student who still did not stop running his mouth during the beating.

If it was one on one the boy would most likely have defeated the teacher because he was a fighter and never likes losing a fight even to the point of death.

But back to the story, for UK, students are already stabbing teachers to death both male headmasters and female teachers and they are now debating whether teachers should start wearing stab proof vests in the class room.

I only did first year of A-Levels there before I left to continue A-Levels elsewhere. They like most Federal Government colleges including Kings college and Queens college Lagos and the likes of the International School Unilag and UI versions had some of the best teachers in the country and I was amazed to see people with 9 A1's in WAEC at Fego and I don't know any of them that had to sit WAEC twice.

Hmmm .... Two wrongs don't make a right. For whatever reason the teacher seized the cap ... he should've returned it at the end of the school day. He did not.... which makes me want to believe the teacher is a bully ... takes away stuff from the students. Not everybody will take it lightly ..or let go without retaliation. I guess the student took matters into his own hand after trying all the steps he should take. Sad.
