I agree we should vote out apc, but when many of the people in ADC were in charge, Abuja was a one chance city.

There is a difference between a body discovered on the road side and one already prepared for funeral. It is part of human dignity.

God forbid, but think of your loved ones. A dead body belongs to a family and some loved ones. Give most of them a chance to find out in a more controlled and dignified way.

God forbid how, the picture confirm the news is true. And what's all these trying to always give respect to dead people that you people didn't respected or do anything for when they're alive.

UK cities have CCTV everywhere. Residents of UK cities pay as much as 200 pounds monthly as council tax which goes into maintaining those things. On top of their income tax which consumes half of their income.

Try that in Nigeria. Wike brought ground tax, people shouted. If he brings council tax, we go shout even more.

I am not saying they are not corurpt, and I believe that APC has failed. Even the last CCTV system attempt in abuja failed because wayo. But it would not have covered all parts of abuja even if it worked.

At the end, we no dey earn the kind of revenue dey earn abroad , simple and short.

And what if nobody knows his or her whereabout, isn't that picture the surest way to know.
The Abuja lady that is still in the hospital who was brought in unconscious, even with the picture shown has anyone come to identify her not to talk of if they didn't post her picture at all.

It is because when nothing is done to those who commit crime, other may not hesitate to do such.
If those caught in one chance acts had been brutally executed immediately by mob, others would know what fate befalls them when they get caught. But where nothing is done or you hand them over to the Police, this will continue.
It is not just in Abuja, it's all over Lagos too. Young women in particular should be extremely careful and men too can be victims.

I think it's time Nigerians protest against governors and our senate, we need death sentence and the execution of terrorists, kidnappers, bandits and armed robbers, and the execution carried out. It seems the governors regard the lives of these killers than the lives of innocent legitimate tax paying Nigerians. It's a shame.

The Nigeria government are not serious and are the ones encouraging this insecurity. They budgeted 340 million dollars arounf 500 billion naira for CCTV in Abuja alone and after allowing the contractor to embezzle all of it they now come together to decide to probe the matter after 10 years.

You guys should stop believing we have enough money. We do not. And as for tax, less than 30% of Nigerians pay tax.

That's a big part of why we don't see anything good from any government.

20% of the budget comes from tax. It's even less.

I did not say there is no corruption or stealing. There is, and that makes our bad condtion worse.

But anyone who beleives that most of what government uses comes from tax... . Most of our revenue comes from LOANS. Even the oil money, it would be enough if we were 10 million people or less. Not the 230 million we are.
