Nobody forced Igbos to invest in Lagos. This ohaneze should focus on their social responsibility and leave politics aside

If such can be reciprocated in Anambra and Abia, it would be a good development.
Honestly, I look forward to a day when a Yoruba can be governor or LGA chairman in the East and vice versa, but we all know that ain't happening soon... Even among Igbos, an Ebonyi man cannot attempt to be LGA chairman in Anambra, but they always try to gaslight Yoruba people and play emotional games cos Lagos is a target.

If you cannot accept such in your region, don't even mull the idea.

Anybody who contributes to his society and is a Nigerian deserves to hold political office in Lagos. Lagos is cosmopolitan, its for all of us. Its our taxes

Its hard to let go the grip. No one wishes to lose his ancestral land to strangers. Even the Igbos in their states wont allow such penetration they have gained in Lagos and entire yoruba states. We have many Northerners as well in Lagos and they are not interested in ousting the son of the soil from his seat. Make the Igbos rest.
Northerners are interested too bro, just that they're too smart to start lamenting in public or on social media like these guys cheesy

Lagos has benefitted immensely from diverce law abiding populace, entrepreneurial, crude oil taxes, vat & consumption taxes. The only people entitled to Lagos are the indigenes, every other person yoruba, Igbo, hausa is a settler and must respect their hosts and show good citizenship by partaking amd contesting elections

How many yorubas live in anambra and abia states? The igbos in lagos have the capacity to gather a good number of votes in lagos because of their population in lagos. So it's logical to hold such view. Secondly igbos have immensely invested in lagos by way of acquisition of landed properties but go to anambra and abia states you used as comparison to know how many landed properties you can say it's owned by a yoruba person. So when you want to make comparison use logical comparison.
Election has to do with population and aligning interest.

I think Ohaneze Ndigbo should order the Igbo businesses that are the so called "developers" of the Lagos economy to return to the South East where they are genuinely needed.

In five years, they will build another Lagos in the East & reverse the migration westwards.

It can be done. grin

I have never heard Afenifere complain about Yoruba people not being voted for in South-East. Everyone should answer their father's name.

I have written what Lagos based Igbos ought to do. You cannot compare the pragmatic cultural nature of Anglophones to Black Africans. Even then, there is a limit as humans are tribal. No native would be comfortable to have its politics dominated by foreigners. This is a global phenomenon.

Aba, Owerri and Anambra are also cosmopolitan so you should also allowed outsiders to even hold a political office.

In your dreams bro.

The same ways the Igbos are buying over real estates in Ghana and want to become their kings?

We Yorubas wholeheartedly agree.

Then we will breath a sigh of great relief.

See children talk?

Are Chinese and other nationals not investing in Nigeria again despite the fact that we all want to Japa from Nigeria?

Igbos and the northerners are too mobile to be kept in one place that's why they are always moving from their region to another.

Can you just tell me any known clusters of the Yorubas anywhere in Nigeria? Just like you have the Northerners and the Igbos clusters.

You see the problem?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The same people that said businesses have left Nigeria is now saying Chinese are investing in Nigeria. Just the way said Tinubu brought Buhari yet still claim he has no hand in his election.

Your two face approach will never win anything in Nigeria. It is not by force to stay in a place that doesn't welcome you, you have the choice to relocate to Sambisa or Zamfara if you are so strong in risk taking

Nigeria is a Federation and not a Unitary jungle as you want it to be. Every federating states has its own power to legislate and control how it want people to live within its territory. Going forward, those that claim Lagos is no man's land will witness the most harsh legislation they deserve. Your 10 year plan too relocate your businesses back to your place has elapsed, so what are you waiting for

You benefit from the economy of Lagos much more than you contribute.
