The Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, on Saturday, met with former Chelsea and England football coach, Thomas Tuchel, in London.

Details of their meeting were not disclosed, but the encounter between the prominent traditional ruler and the renowned football tactician drew attention across social media after images of the meeting surfaced.

The Emir, known for his global engagements, was seen sharing a moment of conversation with Tuchel, who managed Chelsea to UEFA Champions League glory in 2021 and has held coaching roles across top European clubs.

Has he ever attended their home games in Kano?

It was at the Access bank Polo Tournament.. The Emir is dressed in a very elaborate and formal outfit, which makes him stand out a lot compared to Tuchel, who seems more casually dressed. But that’s part of what makes the Emir so different and unique.
