| Re: Car Theft At FCT by Dogalmighty17: 9:11pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
That car is right there in Abuja. They don't leave Abuja anymore. They have workshops within Abuja where they dismantle vehicles and even change chassis numbers. By the time they are done, you won't even recognise your car again. |

This is heartbreaking...I hope you locate it. Just work towards it and follow every advice you get. Don't give up easily and please, don't spend money anyhow while searching for it. Only pay people who you strongly feel can help out, make people no cashout for your head cause of your desperation. |

Not perculiar to Nigeria…check US car theft statistics. My Car has onstar cos it’s a new model and my old Toyota 2010 can be tracked anywhere but not all cars are fitted which explains how Canadian cars ended in Nigeria. Please blame the thief not the victim. For everyone else, put trackers on your vehicles. Ak8181: |

Ak8181:This is exactly the main reason why I want to do away with my corolla. I just had similar experience and though I didn't loose my car, I lost my gadgets worth over 3.5m. Was the car stolen at gunpoint or they managed to unlock the car and zoom off with it? Check my profile, I posted about my ugly experience in wuye Modified: oops, this is 2003 model without immobilizer |

Allthingswork:Don't be surprise this car is already on its way to Bauchi or Kano for sales. Not that easy bro. Unfortunately, the Police that is supposed to ask for car papers during "Stop & Search" will rather collect bribe and let the thief get away unknowingly. |

Dont bother if you filed your report in the FCT! You will not find the car. In the FCT, vehicle theft details are not communicated to other agencies such as VIO, FRSC etc. However if you report the theft in Nasarawa (maraba car reg office)they update the records and you have a better chance of getting your vehicle back A corolla was stolen some time back and all efforts to retrieve it failed until they went to nasarawa and filed the missing report. Behold, they had the record that the car was sold to another person who had registered it. Color had been changed, new rims installed, they even scribbled the mileage on the glass like they do on imported vehicles If you drive a 2003 - 2008 corolla, protect that vehicle. It is in high demand and hope that it was not stolen to be butchered for parts |
| Re: Car Theft At FCT by 2cribz: 8:10am On Jul 13, 2025 |
Bro forget all these bananas like monkeys doo. The car is still at Abuja but sadly they have dismantled it They would start from the easiest parts. Dismantling the doors Boot. Bonet Windshields Radio Brainbox. Harness wires Compressor. Rims Carpet Radiators Then gear with engine would be last Then they'd cut the body. All would be packaged with new nylon and sent to lagos aka ladipo as parts Sopay Otilor U had time to be taking it to car wash be doing big boy with jt.but did not put tracker Haba |

This is sad to read! So sorry about this. Don't give up yet, and most importantly, be careful of those asking you for money to help find your car. Most of them can't help you out genuinely, they are just opportunist. |
| Re: Car Theft At FCT by Goldbw122(m): 6:21pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
Corolla model, I don't know why they keep going for that car, is too much.. .. If they didn't steal it they will steal something inside like brain box or something.. is really bad.. or destroy something, is like the parts of the car is very expensive that is why.. |
