Ohaneze has bigger problems to focus on in SE. They have been crying for the release of Kanu, who, while he was free many prominent Igbo people were kidnapped or lost their lives. I don’t think they have any mental capacity or integrity to speak on what anyone does in their region.

Lol. A Yoruba person is a settler in Yorubaland. This sounds ludicrous. You should learn not to equate others social cultural system with yours. Your emotional game of sentiment is unsettling.

A Yorubaman in any part of Yorubaland is at home. A Yoruba of Benin ancestry has more sense of belonging in Lagos and of course any part of South western Nigeria than any resident from South East.

Being Yoruba or Igbo shouldn't be a yardstick to contesting an election. But when you want are doing so, with the sole aim of maligning and disrespecting your host, you can't be trusted with power.
No that one is a lie. In Nigerian constitution we have state of origin, so if you are not from Lagos that is to say your state of origin is not Lagos, then you are also a settler like me.

Let us turn the table and see how many Hausas and Yorubas have been given such opportunity in Igboland
How many Yorubas indicated that they want to contest and they were not allowed? Please bring a documented case.

Now it is marginalization that you can't hold political office in another man's land?

Is there any other tribe holding political offices in Lagos?

And what about Kano where the Igbos have also invested heavily? Won't they like to hold political offices there too? Or it's only Lagos?

What is it that our friends across the Niger really want??
Igbos and yorubas contest steadily for councilor position in Sabon Gari Kano. Try and travel more so that you stop assumptions.

Even from Ojukwu's angle. Her Husband is dead so she is not from Anambra, if she is to contest she should remarry an Anambra and contest under Anambra.
Jesus Christ!!!!
So her Children are not Anambra again as far as you are concerned ?

No wonder you never built any kingdom or republic of note.
How can you if you are busy pursuing your own people away

Yet Osapa London, lekiki and Vi and Ajah have homes owned by ibos and even streets named after them all over Lagos. I will not engage in an tribal arguments with anyone. It's not worthy as I have seen that people are becoming more tribalsitic. Which is quite alarming and worrisome at what we have become.

My take is don't dish out what you can't take. A non indigene isn't allowed to contest elections in the east even to the extent of not allowing non indigenes to own properties. The lands are ancestral lands and family lands. I get that and I am not debating that. It's your home / land . But if you wouldn't accept all these in your own land . Don't expect others to accept same in their own and . You get?

I don't care who rules or where he/she comes from. It's not like we benefit exclusively being from same tribe as our leaders . I have gone past tribal sentiments and followership. Whoever is good for the job should mount the post.
These homes were they dashed to people or were they bought by the igbos? I don't understand your argument. It seems it is borne out of envy. Your quote don't dish out what you cannot take. I agree, but then show me a documented case of where a yoruba man contested in Onitsha and was not allowed because he is not igbo. Please I am waiting.

They want to start again.

Remember the old adage:

A chick was being kept from scavenging in the refuse to protect it from being taken by a hawk, but it defied the warning and went anyway.

Maybe this is the time to send them parking finally.

They were guests at the table, but now they want to dictate to the host.

Yoruba Ronu oooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I hope you know that your statement is inciting and if you are invited by the authorities, hope you can defend yourself.

Did the ohanaeze have to demand the slots or was it something that happened organically as a product of who the contestant are? Why is it that you people know nothing about accountability? You contest for political office in another man’s land and not demand it. No one owes you anything.

Oga don't try to be half clever here. The opposition to Bianca's nomination came from Ojukwu's family and that is clearly due to their family issues did APGA finally allow her to contest the primaries? The answer is yes, that one you mischievously dodged that part because of the agenda you want to push.

Little understanding? Boy I have been traveling this continent before you descended from your Pops sack. We demanded from a federal government, just like your folks also did under buhari and tinubu. Not go into Igbo state to contest for local elections. So stop with the false equivalency and deflective tactics
Simple question you are dancing everywhere and dodging accountability. Just provide an answer here.

See what you are saying. Are you not ashamed of yourself?

Okay, if your mother lives in your late dad's state of origin and she needs needed medical treatment, does she have to go back to her state of origin or marry someone from his state of origin in order to get it?

You really should engage your upper faculties before talking.

Before you start talking about your upper faculties here, let us clarify things accurately. The opposition to Bianca's nomination was from Ojukwu's family only, and it was due to their internal issue which is none of our business.
Others supported her bid to get the APGA ticket, including League of Anambra Professionals which nullifies what ever mischievous agenda you have.
Another thing which you people deliberately avoid telling other is that there was an APGA primaries which eventually Bianca contested and lost. Everyone contests primaries and it is up to the delegates to choose.

Sure. Unlike you, I have no reason to lie to defend the indefensible. That’s why it’s so hard to hold any good faith argument with your people, you just smear and call the other side liars. We agree with you. Igbos are god good gift to Africa and in fact the entire universe, they can do no wrong and are perfect in all things. Hope this makes you happy

you keep the deflection game going. And this is a common tactic igbos employ when it comes to arguments, you can go back to history of creation if it justifies any indefensible position you have. that’s a tired tactic. No one owes you anything. If you want to contest? Do so. But your socio-political group do not get to tell us who or who not to vote. They have the whole of South east to do such things and we wish them well on whatever agenda that will reduce the flow of economic migrants into the south west and build an economy 10 times that of Africa over there. If you are a good and decent candidate Yorubas vote on your ideas, same way Osun state voted massively for your candidate and he did way better among Yorubas than he thought he could ever do.

Lmao. Well, let me begin by saying congrats to you if travelling to Kano is your own flex. You have tried.

Meanwhile, we are not talking about people contesting - we are talking about people actually holding these offices. Numerous foreigners contest for various positions in Lagos, even up to the state house of assembly, and quite a few win regularly.

Try and understand the topic, then organize your thoughts in a reasonable manner so I can find a way to engage you.

How many Yorubas have businesses in the place you mentioned?

You can't stay in your brown leaking roof room and be asking for power in another region.

Come and see what others are seeing in another person region before they set up businesses and you will shut up by force.

🤣🤣🤣🤣
The people in Abi or Anambra states should let Ebonyi indigenes hold political offices first.
