Another Nigerian leader has died in a foreign hospital. Shameless country; useless leaders; useless citizens; bottom of the totem pole worldwide.
Babangida will be the one leader that will die here in Nigeria to prove something to the rest leaders,
This i have seen

Thank you my brother, you got my point.
Giving chance to either of the available ones isn't healthy ,we need youth to form a party and be voted for.

TInubu is just like GEJ. He is not a good leader.

They talk a good game, but acutal changes like reducing overspending, budget padding, etc? They don't.

Even subsidy removal was forced on them by circumstances beyond their control. Circumstances which they were partly responsible for.

Today, we say goodbye to a man who once carried the hopes of a nation on his shoulders. A president, a father figure to many, a symbol of change whose journey began with promise and passion.

In his early years, he was a beacon of hope. He spoke with fire in his bones and dreams in his heart. Streets once chanted his name, not out of fear, but of faith. He walked into power with the blessings of the people and for a moment we believed again. We believed in justice. In growth. In peace.

But history, as it often does, unfolded with its own script.

In his final days, weakened by time and circumstance, he made a choice that will haunt generations. He handed over the soul of our nation to a tyrant one who rules not with love or law, but with fear and fire. Since then, we have watched our people drown in silence, our freedoms strangled, our dignity auctioned to the highest bidder.

Was it weakness? Was it blindness? Was it betrayal?
We may never know.

But even in the pain of the present, we cannot erase the man he once was. The leader who once gave children books instead of bullets. Who once built bridges where walls stood. We honor that man today not to rewrite history, but to remember the full picture.

To mourn him is to mourn what could have been.

May his soul find the peace he couldn’t give his people.
And may we, the living, rise stronger wiser knowing that legacy is not just in what you build, but in who you leave the keys with when you are gone.

Rest well, Mr. President.
History will speak your name with both hope and caution.
This is shameful and should not be posted at this time.

All this written in honour of a man who took us 10 years backward and handed over to another man who is already whipping our bare buttocks hard and mercilessly? It seems we have not learnt our lessons yet. He doesn't deserve the accolades
The only thing I can wish him is for his soul to rest in piece....okay, pea....c....e... cry. That's all.

By now, Baba should be balling with his 72 virgins, picking his teeth after a huge roasted turkey washed down with a glass of fresh pineapple juice.

However, I don't see why I should mention his name with hope, when in his life, his government was an epitome of hopelessness.

May his soul rest well... His Earthly fight is over.

All men shall taste death, whether good or evil.
Re: A Tribute To A Fallen Leader by zeyt: 6:41pm On Jul 13, 2025
I saw video on one Hausa Youtube channel about death of Buhari two days ago. I never watch it because I thought it was a lie.
Re: A Tribute To A Fallen Leader by Keyin: 6:41pm On Jul 13, 2025
May his soul rest!

And I pray another Buhari should never happened to Nigeria.

He was terribly and horribly bad as a leader.

Tinubu should learn that life is transient

Economic hardship, terrorism and poor governance are what APC has bequathed Nigeria.

Invited killer herdsmen from all Africa in the name of willing election

Allah will judge all of them who brought Nigeria to her knees!

"The Cloak of Salvation"

He came like thunder in a thirsty land,
A promise clenched in iron hand.
With robes of hope, he veiled his face—
A messiah sent to cleanse this place.

They sang of order, praised the sword,
And hailed his every solemn word.
He spoke of justice, swift and pure,
Of healing wounds the land endured.

But soon the mask began to slip,
The honeyed tongue turned iron whip.
The voice that vowed to guard the land
Now broke it with a bloodstained hand.

Silenced lips and vanished men,
A prison built of ink and pen.
The people watched with hearts grown cold—
The lion had devoured the fold.

No freedom bloomed beneath his reign,
Just broken backs and mounting pain.
His dreams, once bright, turned dark and vast,
A future buried in the past.

Yet still, some weep—not just for him,
But for the light grown pale and dim.
For every tyrant who deceives,
Is born from what a people believe.

So mourn him not in marble tones,
But in the ruins, dust, and bones.
A caution carved in every scar—
Messiahs are not what they claim they are.

I remember in 2015 in computer village when his victory in the presidency polls was broadcasted...the whole market erupted in celebration with chants of "sai baba"....

The 'change' mantra with the new political party in power gave many of us hope, but alas... our economy nosedived seriously and we are still struggling.

He will be remembered more for his military admin ((WAI) than his civilian admin which disappointed many.

No matter how much I oppose the APC today, I was a Buharist until 6 months or so after he was elected President. I realized I was wrong, he didn’t have it in him, GEJ was the best choice to continue.

I created this account to support his Presidential ambition, but ended up parting ways and being very opposed to his presidency.

I wasn’t a fan of GEJ but he was the best choice to be president over Buhari, and Peter Obi today is the best choice to be President so I remain Obidient
You are sha good at predicting bad leaders lol

The Obi you are supporting today what was his achievements for 8 years as governor. The same way we were asking about this baba then,
What was his achievements as a former military ruler.

They have all been tested and their score card speaks volume than each other.

As at today, asiwaju has the best mark due to past and present antecedents, I can’t say for tomorrow.

Buhari government was still much better than Jonathan's government, During Jonathan's regime the crude oil experienced the highest surge in price selling over $105 per barrel but all the gain was flittered away through misappropriation and looting his government latter has to result to borrowing to pay worker's salary by the time buhari took the crude oil was selling for less $45 per barrel, not only that the COVID-19 came up which paralyzed the world economy yet Buhari still maintain subsidy payment on pms.

Social media and content creators. Ok.o. The thing that millions of people around the world do.

That's not enough to power an economy.

What powers an economy is selling goods and services the world needs that you have made here in country. That is how China went from being behind sierra leone to lending to sierra leone .

Think about what I have said. GEJ and company were not good leaders. Because at the end of the day, they kept our economy depndent on oil. ANd when the oil price dropped, GEJ started borrowing to keep up.

Look, I did not say buhari or tinubu were good leaders o. And I never voted for gej or buhari or tinubu. Because of what I said above.
Content creation was just 1 example. By the way, he launched a $200 million dollar Nollywood project that boosted film making. He supported local music producers and artists. You’re a Nigerian so you should know that GEJ government created and/or boosted at least 12 sectors of the economy to become the largest economy in Africa:

1. He established the NITDA and funded tech and software startups, launched Nigcomsat and boosted mobile broadband. This opened way for high speed internet and online business. That was when companies like Jumia, olx, konga and other e-commerce stores and apps etc started springing up in Nigeria

2. His Agric transformation led by Akinwumi Adesina performed tremendously well with their e-wallet fertilizer distribution system, which boosted cassava, rice and cotton production

Like I said there are at least 12 sectors he boosted including electricity, industry and manufacturing, Education, Aviation, Banking, Mining and Solid minerals,

I wasn’t a GEJ fan because I thought he didn’t do enough to stop corruption and that was what I expected from Buhari, but in retrospect, GEJ did so much better than what we have today. He had some of the best hands and believed in democracy which is why opposition was strong in the first place

Rubbish write-up.Who should Buhari have handed over power to?Peter Obi?INEC declared Tinubu as the winner of that election so power was handed over to him.Just the same way power was handed over to a criminal, felon, rascist in America in the person of Donald Trump.

Maybe you aren't living close to Anambra state during obi tenure as a governor ?
I lived in Anambra then and the state was nothing to right about

infact every one both the civil servant and even the king are against him cause of power handling of the government affairs

Tinubu isn't doing well but giving obi a chance is a dome to the nation.

We can support a neutral individual out of all the available once at least during 60's We have young men at the end of the affairs...

The youth should come out with a political party and let's vote for one of us ,irrespective of Tribe an ethic lines
Everybody was against him? You mean the 90% plus people who voted for him in a state that Ojukwu couldn’t win against OBJ? Keep clowning 🤡

This is a warning to those leaders playing God thinking they can do anyhow. Buhari provided a horrible leadership to the nation and those who said they would continue from where he stopped should make a rethink before it's too late. Adamant leadership of the day should take note of this day.

obi is only good for being frugal but might nor be best for the country because he said he will maintain the disastrous Tinubu policies, which has not helped anybody
Obi invested in education, healthcare, road networks and security, and invested in Agriculture as well. These investments are paying off even till today. I have the facts, you’re speaking with emotions.
