Lol. Oga I made no postulation about other tribes being able contest in Kano. You may be hallucinating...that said, feel free!
Oga there is no hallucination, your postulations have been invalidated. Go and rest.

But Yoruba demanded for positions under GEJ abi and they even alleged marginalisation. Oga stop the double standard and hypocrisy.
Demanding positions under Federal Government does not equate demanding position from a state government you migrated to. Good attempt at shifting the goal post tho.

These homes were they dashed to people or were they bought by the igbos? I don't understand your argument. It seems it is borne out of envy. Your quote don't dish out what you cannot take. I agree, but then show me a documented case of where a yoruba man contested in Onitsha and was not allowed because he is not igbo. Please I am waiting.
How easy is it for a common yoruba man to buy land in the east? You know this but just want something to suit your narratives . Born out of envy? How is that possible? Envious of people I have never come across or envious of igbos building houses in lagos? All my people are land owners and I showed the lands to them. Like I said, i care less about where you come from . I am not and will never be a tribalist . I am pro human. I deal with you as a human and not as a tribe.
How do I know these lands ancestral lands that can't be sold to foreigners if we hadn't try to acquire one?

Last election, was a man not disallowed in the east because he has a yoruba name attached?,

Call a spade a spade brother . Stop always playing the victim. Do unto others what you will do unto thee.

Peace

Let me correct another lie from you people on Bianca's episode. The opposition to Bianca's nomination came from Ojukwu's family they are the ones who stated that she is not from Anambra. Again it is important that we stop telling lies to prove a point. League of Anambra Professionals and APGA executive opposed Ojukwu's family and stated she has every right to contest the primaries stating that it is the delegates that would vote. Did she contest the primaries eventually? Yes she did. So please let us trying and stop misinforming people.
See the twist 😂
Turns out it was the Ojukwu family blabla like that they are Yoruba or Hausa? Ok, she contested primaries 😂

So, who stop Igbos from contesting in the primaries or don't you also also see Igbos on the posters?

Show me a son or daughter from any South-East state who has been elected as governor or senator in another SE state.

Anyway, like I said, you can always go back to your own state to contest. No need to poke your nose into someone else's zone. And even if someone from the South-West tried it, I would say the same thing.

About the Ilajes, you were quick to defend Ibeno for allegedly forcing them out. Aren’t they also paying taxes?

You say they're taking over the place. So what exactly are the Igbo trying to do? If allowed, won’t they eventually start the usual emotional blackmailing?

Faleke is from Kogi State. The chairman of Shomolu Local Government is also from Kogi, among others. Until you learn to play politics without sounding offensive in your host community, you might never even get close to power.

You see how other countries are banning Nigerians too? No matter who you are, your home is your home. Even Donald Trump was quick to remind Elon of his origins.

Let’s focus on doing our business outside our home regions and stay away from local politics, whether you’re Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba.

Make your region friendly, safe and attractive. Stop being hostile and viciously unkind to outsiders.
You made it sound so basic when it is not as simple as you stated it above. The federal government built Lagos as a capital city and a commercial capital. This is what attracted Igbos to the state. If the federal government makes Enugu the nation's capital Yorubas will also start migrating massively to Enugu. Have you asked yourself why Igbos are not living in Ogun and Oyo as they live in Lagos?

Smh.

I know many Igbo even loving in Akure let alone Oyo and Ogun States that are very close to Lagos State.
You're absolutely ignorant about the history of Lagos. This warped and crooked understanding was why you are not addressing the injustice in keeping your own and attempting to take away that of others.

If FG developed Lagos why were the Igbo always leaving en masse when there's an issue in Lagos? Why oso Abiola?

Lagos is older than Nigeria and those of us from Lagos know how our forebears built Lagos. When you get to a place, calm down to learn the true history of the people and place. This is how you can cure yourself of ignorance.

As we type here, Lagos State Government has its own stadium, teaching hospital, sea port, railway , bridge, educational institutions etc . Some of these structures were in existence even before Independence. Even the 1st secondary school in Nigeria located in Lagos was built almost a century before Nigeria became a country.

It is disrespectful to suggest that Federal Government built Lagos. Below is a wedding in Lagos over a century ago https://www.nairaland.com/7791204/lagos-high-society-weddings-1920s

Compare it to news from the Southeast even decades after then you can see the huge difference. That Nigeria developed and civilized the South-East doesn't mean Nigeria developed Lagos. As at 1959, Ibadan already has a TV station built by late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo so it's disrespectful to now say Nigeria built South West.

Lagos has been a commercial hub long before we ever had any federal government, it’s only natural that such a place would be a melting pot for commercial activities. Capital city or not it’s factors as safety, culture, commercial activities in a city that influences migration pattern. Berlin is Germany’s capital, but Frankfurt, Munich, and Hamburg lead in commerce, banking, and industry, respectively. A country where people build their cities to the best it could possibly be and take pride in it, is a country that grows. The obsession with Lagos is at best short sighted and not in the interest of the country and people in general.

I will assume you are trying to say “double standard “ which simply means applying different rules or expectations to similar situations or people, often unfairly. How is asking for inclusion into a federal government the same as asking for inclusion into a state government. I see why the Jamb cut off mark is consistently being lowered year on year. Otherwise, you will still be stuck in junior high.

You are free to deny it as much as you want. It is clear as daylight that the British colonial masters and the succeeding self-rule governments of Nigeria made Lagos the centre of Nigeria's administration and commerce for almost a 100 years, and this developed Lagos to enable it become what it is today. It was the status of Lagos as the administrative and commercial capital that pulled in Igbos into the region. Don't act like Yorubas did anything special on their own to make Lagos what it is today. Lagos is a national project. All the tribes in Nigeria have heavy investments there.

The federal government is currently developing Abuja and I hope the indigenes in Abuja wouldn't deny someday that it was the federal government that built Abuja.

Oga stop trying to tell lies. As early as 1910 Enugu was already fully built and PH was built in 1913 following the discovery of coal in Enugu escarpment. Abakaliki was a frontier already and as such cannot be used as a yardstick. Also note that places in Ondo too were as frontier and backward as Abakaliki especially the Ilaje areas. So how is asking that we have the right to vote and be voted in Lagos different from your request for more representation in government. Is it not the same representation both scenarios are talking about, but in different contexts.

Yes, and let me guess context doesn’t matter to you right? You do not come into a state you are not indigenous to and declare to be voted for, you canvass and campaign for vote. It’s a constitutional right that there must be equity and balance when it comes to federal governance.

Enugu that people were still walking unclad as at 1963 and Late Chief Michael Okpara had to enact a law to force people to cover themselves.

I don’t really think I am the one doing the screaming here, but if you know your history in Lagos 3 igbos have been voted in as reps in the past. They ran as Lagosians not as Igbo, why can’t the same people that produced 3 electable candidates produce more without demanding candidates be voted in based on tribe?

They have every right, they are already stakeholders in Lagos they pay taxes as well. They are fully assimilated into Lagos society. So if an Ogun man or an Osun man comes to Lagos then an igbo man too has every right to come into Lagos as well. Look according to constitution state of origin is the deciding factor. So if you are not from Lagos you have no locus standing to tell an igbo man not to participate especially when he is a stakeholder in his locality.
