Keep.telling urself that and keep believing it.

Buhari's unpopular government had been trying to gag social media as far back as 2019. It was the Twitter he banned that helped thwart the efforts in 2019.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/12/18/nigerians-raise-alarm-over-controversial-social-media-bill

When ENDSARS happened in 2020, he was angry and Lai Muhammed kept on blaming social media for the escalation because they couldn't hide the attrocities committed by the state actors during and after October 20 2020.

That Case of Buhari's deleted tweet was just a convinient excuse for Buhari's government to carry out their long time heart desire of gaging social media.....

Good thing they realized it didn't work like they intended anyways and they shamefully lifted the ban after making unrealistic demands that were never met

MY TRIBUTE EPITAPH

Here Lies Muhammadu Buhari
Soldier. Statesman. Enigma.

Before him, there was no Nigerian politician,
After him, there may never be another Nigerian politician,
To command such fierce loyalty, such unmatched cult followership.

He walked among our nation's wealth but never bowed to it.
His disdain for riches, his spartan simplicity—legendary, unwavering, ascetic to the end.

Like all mortals, he was not without fault.
If he erred, it was in the depth of his trust—
In men who could not rise to the weight of the ideals he lived, a
And the responsibilities he entrusted them with.
They , many of them, failed him—and he knew it,
But he bore it quietly,
With the resolve of a man who believed in duty above self.
Had he written a book, many would have been condemned to eternal damnation.
But he chose not to.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings.
May He forgive ours when our own call comes.

If he erred, it was because he was the greatest coupist Nigeria ever produced, and he was singularly the most culpable individual Nigerian by far to directly have a hand in the downfall of Nigeria as a country.

He was part of the government under Muritala Mohammed, under Obasanjo, and under Abacha, and then was HOS with Idiagbon and did 2 terms as President.

He was minister of petroleum under THREE different governments.

Save us the prayers. The nigga should rest in pisss.

I will only accept this if you are using a Windows PC that you legally laid Microsoft for the OS.

And you paid for all the desktop applications on the PC including Microsoft Office and co.

Also you've never collected a movie or TV series or downloaded any illegally. You only stream from Netflix or Amazon Prime or DSTV Showmax.

Also you've never downloaded an Ebook or pdf illegally.

You've never streamed a football match from an illegal website.

raumdeuter:
Atiku was VP for 8yrs
Where is the world class hospital he built in those 8yrs that is making him take permanent residence in Dubai
Atiku was VP, not president, yet you're crying that he didn’t build a “world-class hospital” by himself, while defending two actual presidents who’ve had unlimited power, budget, and eight full years each, but still treat Nigeria like a medical dump.

Tinubu and Buhari had the full control of power, military, budget, policy yet neither of them trusts the same health system they governed. They’re in power, but their medical records are stamped in London.

You’re foaming over where Atiku lives, but your current president literally flies abroad for checkups, and your former president was practically on a hospital bed in the UK for months, as a sitting president. Yet not once did you question that. He still went ahead to die in a foreign country.

You’re asking where the hospital Atiku built is, but where is the one Buhari built with eight years and trillions in oil revenue? Where is the one Tinubu promised? Oh, I forgot, they were too busy building propaganda warriors like you.

Atiku is not the president. The men you defend are. So before you keep typing “Dubai” like it's a slur, ask yourself this: what exactly did your own idols do with more power, more time, and more trust? Nothing, except passport-stamping their health records abroad.

Which kind of gaslighting is this?

He was commander in chief. He was president ffs.

Keeping quiet when those under your command are perpetrating evil is complicity. No excuse abeg.

If the testimonies people are giving about him will send him to hell so be it.

I mean, this is justice isn't it?

Big time gaslighting. A whole lot of his appointees stole money from Nigeria at a time everybody agreed Nigeria be putting in place austerity measures. But somehow the commander-in-chief is getting a free pass.

To think that was the same thing we all vilified Jonathan for and had him removed from office..... Today people would talk about Diezani, Sambo and others who stole under Jonathan's government. People would say it was justifiable that Jonathan was removed for the many sins of his appointees.

But here is someone making a glowing tribute about Buhari and absolving him of the massive corruption under his administration by claiming They Failed Him, he knew and bore it quitely. 🤦‍♂️. I never see this kind double standard begore in my life. To think the nation was more prosperous during the reign of the former sef.

He was the very first ever minister of petroleum in Nigeria, and he headed up the petroleum portfolio 3 times under 3 different administrations.

He was involved in almost every coup from the Gowon Coup to Abacha and was part of the vast majority of governments Nigeria has ever had, from Muri Mohamned, to OBJ, alongside Idiagbon, under Abacha to 2 terms as democratically elected president.

The man has been a governor, 3 time head of state, 3 time petroleum minister

When Nigerians are swearing for their leaders, there is no other singular individual that embodies the Nigerian leadership than Buhari in our entire history . He is 'Nigerian leaders', and swear suppose follow am reach the other side.
