No, before he started creating issues with me, I did everything to keep the relationship good and smooth.

Even at office work place, you have to keep friendly relationship with colleagues & boss to evade office politics, some things are needed for smooth relationship...
The second paragraph is not applicable in this context. It is only natural that u are cordial with the people u see daily and are in close contact with. Office working relationship is different from relationship with a HP partner. Many car owners don't even want to be close to u, cos they don't want overfamiliarity to mix with their business affairs.

Guys, help me analyze this InDrive trip. Is it good, bad, or ugly?
With this net, it shows that the trip was like 8k.
The KM you covered not relevant (to me).
If 48mins was the duration, it is an add-up of your drive time to PU, your waiting time and the travel time - this shows that the trip in action sense was like 30-something minutes.
8k for that time is not really bad on indrive.
Sometimes, indrive will throw a huge amount on that same time trip.
Keep hustling, baba.

Much respect, boss.

Have paid all the money required and mine has been pending verification for a while now. I chose virtual verification and paid separate fee for that

Not that a fair deal. You should have negotiated for at least 10k gross. A short trip of 6.5km will pay like 3.5k to 4k on a norm. You did x3 of it.

For those that said time overrides km, you must think that Bolt is crazy for favouring kilometre over time.

Who told you that drive time includes the time it takes to get to pick up point, wait time, and actual travel time?

It's even the distance for a trip to cover from where you parked to point A and point B indrive use to calculate and then divide the amount rider is offering for the ride by the Km to cover. Indrive is not concerned about the time it will take you to complete the ride. If you like use 2hr or use 10mim. Na you sabi
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Obedibombedi: 8:37pm On Jul 15, 2025
When I advised against use-less trips, some came for my head.
Rain or sunshine, I'll never complete a use-less trip.

Race to #1,000,000 for the month is on.

RIP GMB

Not sure I understand what u guys are trying to say.
Are u insinuating that Indrive prices shows different amount to Drivers depending on driver distance from Rider?

Okay. Thanks for the comment.

By the way, the passenger actually paid me 10k, instead of the 8k2 showing on the app.

The point I made was simple; the 48mins that shows on the trip wasn't the actual travel time of the trip (point A to B), it is the time he picked the ride and the time he ended it.
Na simple analysis I gave the OP so as to encourage him.
Maybe puzzynegro (which kind name be this? 😁) didn't understand my point.

Much respect, boss.

That explains it. The rider knew that price is not fair so he or she compensated you out of their goodwill... But I don't live my life on pity and consideration.

I charge the right amount upfront.
