The tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari brought a lot of hardship to Nigeria but this does not mean there are no positives from his administration. However, following the announcement of his death in London, several Nigerians have celebrated his passing majority because of the hardship he brought. What seems surprising is the fact that's Nigerians from the ethic region of the former President have celebrated his passing. This comes as a shock to me as I have not seen such celebration since the time of Abacha. Please watch the video of them celebrating and share your views. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNV4-STIuW8?si=IHkhldVt9WyEEFql

He was a terrible leader. It's unfortunate that even his kinsmen are celebrating his death . Buhari carried himself like a small god, talks carelessly and his evil policies led to the death of hundreds of his country men, women and children. Buhari government encouraged fulani herdsmen killing spree |

Apart from Tinubu nobody can ever be compared to Buhari in terms of bad leadership, but it seems Buhari is a little bit better than Tinubu, Tinubu is the most useless leader in the world |

"..Buhari is gone. Tomorrow it may be you, it may be I. But before we mourn him like a saint, let us remember that his leadership was the beginning of Nigeria’s downfall in the modern age. Let the truth sting because only when it stings, can we heal and take the right decision in the next elections. His death should not just be a time of tribute. It should be a moment of reflection for the present leaders.Power is temporary. The seat is not eternal. What will you be remembered for? Perhaps Buhari truly meant well. Personally, I believe him for what he stands for. Perhaps he believed in Nigeria. But good intentions mean nothing in the face of suffering. Leadership is not judged by the heart. It is judged by results, and the result of Buhari’s time in power was this: 💔A shattered economy 💔An insecure country 💔A helpless youth 💔A disillusioned nation |

LagosOrigin:When the cruel cashless policy was rolled out by the then CBN governor. He got the total support of a certain kind of people because these kind of people thought it will hinder Tinubu in a way from achieving his ambition to become president. These people jubilated and danced and were so happy for the policy showing total support despite the devastating effects which very much the inevitable consequences that was more than it's merits. It is still these same people that are raining curses on Buhari and celebrating his death. |

Look at it well.... It's the hausa that are mostly rejoicing because they saw many things unfold under buhari..... He caused great division in the country by looking the other way... |

Strange given that he was returned for another four years despite the first term eventually mirroring the second term. |

The illusional, packaged and overhuped Buhaari. If he wasn't given opportunity rule Nigeria, the story today would be... The only person who could have fixed Nigeria problems, be ruthless with corrupt politicians and take Nigeria to the promise land. But we all don see that na wash he is. |

Was buhari a good man before. If you have been to the north you all know those guys can do and undo. Have witness where a group of youth was stoning a former governor. |

This's the reality. Their eyes don open. You can imagine Fulani herdsman killing people like chicken and this wicked president did nothing You can imagine me living with type 1 diabetes who bought insulin cheap started buying it for 16k under his tenure. And now it's worse as I buy the insulin for 27k |

This is despicable. No matter what, this is not polite behaviour. In as much as his administration was one of the worst if not the worst, it's not called for. I supported the man in 2015 with full chest, but despise him when his government went astray. |

Buhari really ruined this country, yet this was the same man they once projected as a messiah. Now, they expect us to accept someone they openly called a failure when he was a governor. Anytime I'm interacting with someone and they start acting like a saint, I immediately distance myself. If not for the 2027 elections, a lot of people wouldn’t even speak up the way they are now. As for Tinubu he's also a failure. But let's be honest, Peter Obi, Atiku, and the others currently in the spotlight don't seem like the solution either. |

Hehehe! Buhari is really an undesirable plague. Even his Kastina home state people have seen hell too while he ran away to Kaduna then to London( Since his ally in Nigeria Republic have long been disposed). The man was a pain upon this nation. |

Even Buhari is known as a terrible leader from his own ethnic people However how can a group of people who dance around on the streets when Abacha died, be saying rubbish over people who did same to Buhari ? |
| Re: Some Northerners Rejoice Over The Death Of Muhammadu Buhari by Heffalump(m): 11:55am On Jul 14, 2025 |
The truth is that the popularity of Buhari in the northern part of Nigeria is majorly within his Fulani enclaves. Not many people from other ethnic characterization are actually enthusiastic with his leadership and political stance. |

Can remember then, when late Sani Abacha's death was announced, the streets erupted in jubilation and celebrations. Power is transient and so is money. Death awaits all mortal, but then we all will be judged by others, here on earth with the kind of life we lived. Hope the living are learning... |

Let's be honest, Buhari was brutal and heartless sha. He wasn't in touch with the sufferings of the people, as long as he had access to his goro and his cows were doing just fine, Baba would just assume that everything was okay. He kept relying on appraisals from sycophants who were around him. Anyway. Rest in peace. No be like say naija fit ever better with the faulty foundation it was created upon.
