Why should the Ibom Maritime Axis stand to benefit from the maturation curve of development currently unfolding in Lagos?

Anyway, it's a private investment, he has the right to decide where he wants it located.

But when the oil and gas from the Niger Delta region is cut and supplies out of the region are impeded, I hope that he won't complain.
Why will oil and gas from the Niger Delta region be cut off?

His company belong to him everything including all his assets, he is a good neighbor, the kind of people we want in our region not noise makers and people who claimed they developed your land, abuse our people and kings and said your land is no man's land. We don't want those toxic people around us. Our Land will make Dangote prosper and we shall celebrate him and his children till the book of judgement is open.

Is he lifting oil and gas from the Niger Delta for free? Even if the worst happens, are there not other countries he can get crude from? You should probably apply to become his business adviser since you know more than him.

It is unfair how Dangote has been marginalising our brothers from the East. What is wrong with building this in Agulu instead of the West? angry

Factcheck0001:
hate is what is marginalising u in d south east, just observe as south south will get VP n then presidency again n they will better their lots n u will start insulting them n calling them betrayals again.

On another note, I can bet even dangote will not even claim to develop south west but those people who will claim it don't even have nothing, if they have half of what dangote have in south west they will demand for governorship of all south west states.

We want to thank yorubas and the governors for making south west a peaceful hub for investment
You know the funny thing? We are in the digital age. The same thing there forefathers did and handed over to them had no digital footprint. It's in the next two decades when most of them are 40, 50, 60 to 80 and the entire country get access to their current ridiculous bitterness on social media that the gravity and repercussion of their foolishness will be unveiled to them.

Ogun to have seaport, we need seaport approval in eastern part pls
Has anyone applied? Though we are tired of explaining to you that you have no coastline and therefore cannot have anything called a seaport. If you were rational you would ask for a rail line to cut across all eastern states and connect with other regions since the east is highly industrialized, but no...you eyes must be on what others have.

Sorry!

grin that’s because business decisions are not made based on sentiment and emotions…..SW remains the most secured and economically viable region of the country, that why its host most economic migrants from all parts of the country. Try and make your region more investors friendly and secured, not forcefully locking people up every Monday and expect sane mind to invest in such an hostile environment.

I could remember some years back where all the governors were seeking for seaport approval in the eastern part, why was it not approved and why move all the seaports to Western part of the country.

Mind you, I'm from South west, I just find this inconsiderate...

...this is a big step and will consolidate his footprint in the Africa economy.

At this rate, the Niger Delta might just go down as the most legendary comedy epic, not just in Africa, but across the galaxies. Their story will echo beyond time, so much so that even in the afterlife, in the halls of heaven, entire parables will be crafted from their saga

This is even after all of them decamped to APC.

Tufiakwa.
It’s not today they started being daft and clever-by-half! They’re just too ‘smart’ for their own good! See how the hegemonic alliance has been enriching their own regions, politicians and political-entrepreneurs courtesy of divide-and-rule. and the greed and stupidity of the average Niger-Delta/‘awa-oyel’ peep!

Some will be feeling all superior, smug and funky as they use their control of the Nigerian political-economy to locate ‘largest this and largest that’ in their region! If you ask they will have you know that it’s all down to their ‘sophistication’, ‘business savvy’ and all such piffle! If they truly trust the strength of their convictions, it then begs the question as to why they aren’t interested in forming their own country independent of all the ‘deadwood’ weighing them down in Nigeria!

And the audio billionaires keep waiting for government to dredge thier river for them. They can't imitate others who do. God bless Dangote, a patriotic Nigeria. He is not the only beneficiary of government. Even thier richest man said it earlier this year how IBB made him. They have also benefitted but get mad at Dangote who believe so much in Nigeria.

Your point raises an interesting perspective on the potential economic implications of Nigeria's division. In the event of a division, investments made by prominent northern businessmen like Dangote may not necessarily be affected. A relevant example is MTN, a South African company operating in Nigeria. Even if Nigeria were to split, South Africa's investment in the country could remain unchanged. Currently, South Africa reaps significant benefits from MTN's presence in Nigeria, as they control a major portion of the telecommunications sector and repatriate profits back to their country.

Applying this concept to a potential North-South division in Nigeria, it's possible that the North, with its larger investments, could maintain control over the South. This dynamic is akin to the saying, "He who pays the piper calls the tune," implying that those who provide financial support often hold decision-making power. This could result in the North gaining control over the South and utilizing revenue generated from the South to develop their own country.

Peace!

shut up ? What insecurity is stopping bayelsa from having a federal sea port just like apapa ?
There is a Federal seaport in PH, Calabar, Warri and Onne. Why exactly should FG build another seaport in Bayelsa? To serve what purpose exactly? Ogun and Ondo states have access to sea but there is no federal seaports in there. So, should Ondo and Ogun state people also start crying for seaport?

He is a big player an international one for that matter. The so called billionaire are only mad that is not from their region so as to keep boasting how they are the best in terms of business. Dangote is so far ahead of them. power sector is free now but when Dangote enter and start getting it right, ogbanjes will keep wailing. He talk about the steel sector as his next point of call. He will also get it right cos nobody is bold to enter. Adeleke and co are just scratching the surface that davido boast about his father building power plant and yet only few light is added to our national grid. Let Dangote enter there and see within two years instant result. He is a goal getter. Am not surprised cos he roll with the bill gate of this world.
