First of all, antibiotics needs to be administered, although I would have preferred Enrofloxacin but since you've started with Augmentin no problem. Then continue giving her multivitamins/Vitamin C and keep her hydrated.

Is your Vet aware of this development? And has he administered the next drop? This will guide our next step

You can continue with the Augmentin your Vet administered not necessarily by drip, but ensure you add multivitamin and Vitamin C and keep her hydrated. Where are you based?

Am Based on Port Harcourt. My Vet said Vitamin C is not necessary,dt the Multivitamin is Ok.But the issues am having is that she is no longer eating even the Egg, hardly drinks water again and Vomiting now.

Ideally they should be with their mum for a longer period. But based on the prevailing circumstance you can take them, but ensure there are kept warm with their necessary supplements. Keep me updated

I am so very sorry to hear that sir, please accept my sympathy. I also thought as much but since your Vet was on ground and did the physical examination I decided to go with him. I'm sorry once more chief. Just ensure you always keep me updated, I'll always be on standby.

I really Blame The Vet for the Death of the Dog,cos rite from day 1 I told him wot the Dog was surfering from, but he refused to believe me since I was not a Vet.If he had told me what to do next I wud have followed it up.I spent almost 200k just to keep that Dog Alive but it was to Late. Its really Painful cos she was more than a Dog to mem

Well done with this thread, Dr. Seun. I skimmed through most of the pages to get a response for the question I have, but I couldn’t, and probably for the best since the cost of everything has skyrocketed. Here’s my question, what’s the appropriate budget for taking care of a GSD pup (at least 3-5 weeks old), medically?

I’m looking to get a GSD puppy; preferably male, and I would like to budget medical treatments for the next 12 months.

Good evening Sir, your question depends on a lot of factors, for instance area you stay, type of feed etc. But I'll revert shortly to give a definitive answer

Ikeja, Lagos; place of residence.
Feed will be a combination of crushed meals and the usual bagged/canned dog feed.

Regards, Doctor.

You can get Amitraz bath. Follow the manufacturers instruction usually once every 2 weeks. And clean the environment, I'll be on standby

Good Morning Sir, below is the estimate of what to expect. Vaccination: 60,000 at once
Anti rabies: 10,000 per year
Feeding: 5,000 per week
Booster: 2500 per Month
Miscellaneous: 10,000 per month.

Hi Seun
My puppy has been throwing up since last night (there’s no vet around me..I’m in Enugu ukwu) I saw thread (for sewing clothes) in his vomit. He was whining too last night but has stopped. He is always indoors since he hasn’t taken his last vaccination shots. Please what can I do?
How is he presently
