Note; my parents are no more. my friend who is a German citizen now is helping me with sponsorship letter. I am still searching for apartment.

I want to know, for those who used sponsorship letter, how long does it take for the person to apply and get it in Germany?

And, How did you get the sponsorship letter here in Nigeria?

Please I used greypay to initiate a transfer to my admitted university on Friday around 6pm.my school replied me this morning that they are yet to receive my payment, then I contacted greypay customer care where they replied me that my fund was successful that my school should contact their Bank for them to trace the money.
Please for people that have used this App before, how long does it take for the receipant to receive the payment.

Transaction between banks in Germany takes up to three working days to reflect. Weekend is not included

If I may ask, are you instructed to response to the mail with the attachment of your incoming insurance? Or bring it physically to the embassy?

Yes give them time so far your bank assured you that the money has been transferred to the school account.

Submit either physically at the embassies gate or using a courier, which ever way you wish to submit the document, a print out of the email sent by the embassy is required along side the other documents.

2. Identification documents - you can see there is an option to select passport. Fill in your passport details

3. Travel dates - pretty straight forward. When are you travelling? Fill in the date but you need to align the date with when your study begins.

4. Reference - also straight forward; who is your referee? Put the person's details. You can use your friend in Germany if they are fine with it. Otherwise, anyone is also fine - your boss, your previous lecturer e.t.c.

5. Living expenses - write sponsorship through (your friends name) . I believe you already have the sponsorship letter so write the correct name and relationship filled in.

6. Residence - If you do not have an accommodation yet, you can put your friend's address or your school address.

They specifically asked I either use a courier or submit in person at embassy’s gate… no option of sending it electronically via a mail or something.

If you were asked to send it as a reply to the mail and they've not responded, it's either one of these:
1. They didn't receive your mail or they probably skipped it. Call them to confirm.

2. The incoming health insurance you sent is not valid. Use Educare24, or Mawista if you don't have an already activated German public health insurance. If you do, you can also send the insurance certificate.
