I have taken time to monitor this trend and I have noticed that it take between 19 to 23 months to get an appointment from the day you book an appointment. (omo no be beans oh).

so what I have tried to do that might help us all is to list out the months and the possible month that you will get an appointment.



Presently the embassy are on the people that book their appointment in July and august 2023 ( Noticed that from this trend)


August/September 2023 = June/July 2025

September/October 2023 = July/August 2025

October/November 2023 = August/ September 2025

November/ December 2023 = September/October 2025

December 2023/January 2024 = October 2025/ November 2025

January /February 2024 = November/ December 2025

with what I have also notices there might be few days delay but I think it will be close to this days. lets keep supporting each other and standing by each other.

This process is not easy and its not for the weak.

who has done their A1 exams, this thing is not easy oh.

As for me, I was able to apply for a work permit visa to take up employment as an academic after receiving my employment contract and employment relationship document as a delivery driver two days ago. I am currently hopeful that they will verify my documents and update me within 1-2 weeks.

Good day house. Please has anyone here applied for an Ausbildung visa or in Germany through the Ausbildung route? Went for interview since the first week of April and still yet to hear from the embassy.

I applied for FRV on the 6th of June 2024 when the wait was “over a year” and after the intervention of a lawyer, I got a date on the 23rd of June 2025 for July 24.
I also wrote the A1 exams on 20th June

I’m putting my documents together and I have a few questions.

1. How much is the verification fee? I don’t see it anywhere on the website and when I called, the lady said “kindly check the website”.

2. When should the verification questionnaire be filled/submitted? The lady (otp when I called) said the lawyer will fill it out after my interview but I see that some people filled and submitted the questionnaires during the interview.

3. Would anyone married to an EU citizen care to share their recent experience at the German embassy for FRV?

I want to avoid this Paulinus fellow’s trouble at all costs lol

Please can you give more information on how this was done. I mean with the lawyer. How can one get a lawyer for this.

I dont think your wife needs one since you are in the education line, even if she needs they will let her know. at the embassy during her interview and she can always do it and submit later after her interview as well.

The firm is se-legal[dot]de
They emailed the embassy on my behalf citing parts of the Free Movement Act. I believe they responded positively because of that but on the firm’s website, it says they generally can’t do much before the interview has been done and the 12 week period has expired.

My case is a bit peculiar bc my husband is an EU citizen not living in his country. He charged us over €1k but you should 100% contact and make enquiries to know what exactly can be done for you

Give me the website or office address, let me talk to them directly. What is the name of the Kanzlei? Is it Schlun und Elseven Rechtanwalt? If yes i checked they are in to famillierecht und Ausländer und Aufenthaltsrecht so ja.. I think it is positive.. I will give them a call.. Thanks alot

On July 4, 2025, the German Consulate Lagos notified me of my work visa approval and requested my health insurance, which I promptly sent along with my intended arrival date of July 13, 2025. However, I haven't received any further communication, despite the arrival date having passed. I resent the email on July 8, 2025, but still no response. Should I wait longer or proactively send my documents via courier, including proof of earlier correspondence?

Please I have a question in case anyone has been in this position, in a situation you give birth after your interview while waiting for embassy on final decision, is there a way to go about this or one will wait for another long period for your child‘s process

What do you mean by "intended arrival date"? Was it the date the embassy communicate with you that you will receive your document or the date you filled in as intended entry date?

Please would really appreciate an urgent answer please. I have applied for My Annerkenung which is almost half done all the documents submitted . I applied for my work visa/ Arbeitsaufnahme here in Nigeria German embassy Lagos but unfortunately I was to come for interview on June 2025 but my Annerkenung is yet to be out so I sent a mail which they re scheduled for me. My question now is
1: I would like to travel together with my 11years old daughter ( Minor) as I am applying for work visa and I have gotten an employment stating I will be working for 120hours a month and salary more than 2000€ now I would like to ask if is possible to travel along with my daughter 11years old
2: what type of visa are my to fille since she is traveling with me together
3: Can they do the Interview for both of us same day since I have an interview by November 2025 as rescheduled by them. Just curious if is possible for me to go with my Minor child 11years since is work visa. And the type of Visa form am to filled.

I had my interview yesterday, this is the document checklist they currently operate with. You must arrange your documents in this order from the gate

No need to take photocopies of no. 1, 2 & 3. The man at the gate (not Paulinus) said they no longer ask for that
From no. 9 is where he started asking for photocopy + original
