The former editor said the UK doctors were already familiar with Buhari’s medical history and there was no need to change them. And with all the expertise, Buhari died in London Clinic under the hands of the UK doctors. |

Omo! Given the opportunities these so-called leaders had to change the Nigerian health sector for good, it’s a shame that Buhari ”finally” died in a London clinic walai! I’m sure that future leaders are not learning from others experiences. |

He avoided Nigerian hospital but he eventually died in the good hospital he chose in another man country. Similar fate awaits heartless leaders who prioritize foreign treatments than improving local medical facilities

So ordinary people can die abi? Omo ehnnnnnnn It's very obvious that APC politicians do not rate Nigerians. Osinbajo used a hospital in Lagos and we all commended him for it. Tinubu is towing this path by always jetting out to wherever |

No...he was taken there to hide his medical history! What happened within the 90 days he was made incommunicado? We have a few excellent private hospitals in Nigeria with world class doctors. They are still lying even after his demise.

Who is responsible for building and equipping new and existing hospitals? As I’ve said earlier, all our leaders have failed us including the current government and even those being positioned to take over. From Obi, who didn’t build a single hospital or school in eight years, to Atiku, Amaechi, El-Rufai, David Mark, and even “Mr. Half Salary” they’ve all disappointed us. This country feels doomed. I don’t want anyone telling me otherwise, because the cheapest thing in the world is talk. |

The passing of Buhari speaks to the fragility of human life. One thing must be said: Buhari is not returning like a cargo; he returns escorted by the highest level of government. A retinue of soldiers await to give him the highest honours due to a military general. This is real pulling out of Buhari. He did not die in disgrace. He did not die in shame. He died at an old age. He died after completing his tenure and sometimes taking drastic decisions to keep the unity of Nigeria intact. What many may not remember was that some countries refused to sell arms to Nigeria during Jonathan's tenure. I suspect it was because they wanted the insurgency in Nigeria. As such, the military was ill-equipped to tackle the insurgency which did not start under Buhari or Jonathan. When Buhari came into power, he had a meeting with Donald Trump who reversed Obama's policies and sold the super-tucano jets to Nigeria. World leaders also invited Buhari to their G8 summit or so and asked him what he needed. Arms were also sold to Nigeria and we started giving the insurgents a bloody nose. Buhari also started the AKK gas pipeline which is expected to increase Nigeria's earning capacity from gas. Buhari also completed the second Niger Bridge and railway projects. Buhari bailed out some states several times when they lacked the capacity to meet salary obligations. He tried to remove subsidy, but when he saw that Nigerians would blame him for the attendant pain and misery, he decided to keep funding it, despite having to borrow to do so. At the end of his administration, he removed fuel subsidy by refusing to make budgetary provisions for it. Tinubu announced it and took the fall. He is still taking the fall today. Towards the end of his tenure, Emefiele started an evil naira repainting scheme, in an attempt to demonetize the 2023 elections. Buhari supported the policy and the effects are still ringing on the economy till today. Emefiele is facing the heat for that disastrous policy. Some people are blaming Buhari for what happened in Lekki. Unfortunately, Buhari has not stated his own side. It would have been fair to finalize how many persons were killed in Lekki, and proper compensation paid to the families of the bereaved. However, the Lekki incident would remain a blight on Buhari's legacy. Nonetheless, Buhari was trained as a soldier. Soldiers are not exactly trained to lead countries, except they have experts to guide them on how to do things properly. Buhari did not exactly have the right people to help him during his administration. Some of them lacked the discipline, knowledge, wisdom, and patriotism to help the country. They got captured by filthy lucre and forgot the enormous responsibilities they had. Buhari himself complained that he didn't know why those he appointed failed to report his projects. I think we would have gotten the best of Buhari if we had a younger version of him. He admitted he was already old when he came in. We pray for his family, associates, and those who were close to him to receive strength to deal with his demise. |

My gush! So the hapless Nigerian citizens suffering and dying in the mere consultation clinics back home deserves it Wicked souls. They don't just care for what happened to the common man. See the kind of people Nigeria was unfortunate to have in government. See as he is rubbishing his home country hospitals and denigrating his nation just for political psycophancy |

They don't even have faith in the mess they created but they want the commoners to be hopeful, well, he's gone now and similar fate await those in power who wouldn't learn a lesson from it. Put your house in order instead of flying up and down for what could be done here. |

All of his children studied outside Nigeria. That is another angle to it. Most of our leaders don't want to eat from the food they have cooked. Like leaders like their followers, all are of the same feathers. Both our leaders and we that are their followers lack accountability and are mostly very irresponsible. Every body is fighting for their own selfish end. You can't have bad leadership but good followership and things will be this bad. Infact the followers are even worse.Take a look at the menance of FAKE DRUGS for example |

Is it not the same Buhari who promise heaven on Earth during campaign, why didn't he change that during his tenure? |

So it's good for the average Nigerian to use the same Nigerian hospitals where Bubu would have died a long time ago? But the UK hospital that failed to keep him alive is good for politicians? One dey God would wipe all these evil people away, I see it coming |

Imagine what a presidential spokes man is saying after his principal ruled for 8 years. This are the kind of statements the will make people talk bad about the dead. This man should learn to keep quiet sometimes. |
