This shows the level of how wicked and greedy our leaders are, this old group of selfish wicked people can do anything to get to the sit therefore looting becomes the other of the day.

Nigeria has a lot of money which will develop both in all angles and fight insecurity to the win but these same men don't want the happiness of another man.

Whether buhari was long dead or now this is how God will keep shaming them until they do the right thing.

In as far as the amount allocated is outrageous, Aso rock clinic like any other government house clinic caters for all the staff working there. And yes there are civil servants working in those places, the security personnel, the clinic medical staff etc are all civil servants and have access to the clinic when the need arises. Also note that consultations, laboratory investigations, drugs etc are all free as far as you have access to those clinics. I'm not defending these politicians embezzling state funds, just want to give an inside on how these works.

Because services in those clinics are rendered free, the money allocated is actually justified IF and only IF it is untilized in all honesty. Just imagine running a clinic for a whole year without collecting a dime from any patient and you have patient load of 30-50 per day. This can give you an idea of the cost. But this is Nigeria, the money is embezzled and those accessing services in the clinics end up getting little to nothing in terms in proper diagnosis and treatment...hence the reason Aisha Buhari once complained of lack of Panadol in the Aso rock clinic.
It might shock you to know that the people embezzling these monies are the civil servants working in those clinics, I mean the top civil servants.

But truth of the matter is that even if the hospital don't receive all that money they budgeted, at least it gets a sizable chunk of that fund each year. Why not fix the damnn hospital and the health care sector by extension? If you want to go outside for treatment as a president due to security reasons, no problem, but fix these facilities so that Nigerians can get quality service then you can go and die in your London clinic, no problem. The other time Aisha was complaining about the state of the said hospital. let's not keep making excuses for these demons.

That is what am trying to make you understand, it is budgetted based on expected income, if the income is not achieved it can not be executed.
The same thing you are expecting for health, someone else is expecting for education, another person is expecting for security, another person for infrastructure, so which one should be done and which one should be excused, putting into perspective limited income.
So the question is not why is it not done, because there is no money for it.

The real question should be how can people be made to understand this limitations , remove biasedness and look for actual working solutions.

This i say because most people will have inherited anger because the keep on seeing bogus amounts being awarded for the same thing year in year out.

The national hospital is old and was built by the past leaders(old leaders o not the last 3 presidents)
So u mean they couldn't build another one to supplement the already existing ones?

Because this government has been in power since 2015 if you can remember.

When people critique government they find the seam between the old and new governments and start there, because they made the choice for 'change' and voted out the old believing the new will be better.

Don't know about you but some folks still think when they vote it means something and not just changing government for changing sake, that is to fulfill hwir sentiments or fantasy.

It exists. I've been there many times. But believe me you will not see these figures quoted on the ground.

let also have the figures for 1999 to 2014 as well.. this did not start from Buhari.. anyways

Buhari built a new state house clinic..what is BAT not using it and still flies to France for treatment.. even with all the figures quoted for the state house clinic...most institutions in Nigeria are under funded.. so I don't expect that figure to be enough..

but can't government build just one facility even if it is for themselves for proper health care in Nigeria?

Budget doesn't mean money. That the sum was budgeted doesn't mean it was expended or released. That money isn't available anywhere. That's why borrowing is always a part of budget funding process. Sometimes, the country or agency you wish to borrow from will decline your request.
