So you have not been reading since morning? BAT met the body on arrival in Katsina there. The body was flown from London to that place directly. BAT and the Governor were on hand as required to meet the body there.

On completion of the process of burial, BAT and the FG delegation will fly back this evening to Abuja.

That's why despite having a state funeral, his body is being buried the same day it arrived as proceedings are hastily taking place without much ceremonies and formalities. The delay already was caused by him dying abroad he would have been buried same Sunday or latest yesterday morning.

Rich or poor islam permits conveying body to hometown if there is capacity to do so within the shortest time.
