I get what you're saying. But he isn't the only person going through whatever he was going through....yet he chose murder. And he should be held responsible for his actions and not pitied . There are millions of people out there in bad relationships or marriages and they don't murder people,they walk away and he didn't. No excuses here. He is a criminal.

He’s human. May your patience not be tested after being mentally abused. I have witnessed both sides which is why I covered both sides. It takes a moment of anger and losing your patience just once for this to happen. If people know they have troublesome family members they must protect their spouse from them. If the problem was coming from the wife he would have targeted her when he was alone with her. For him to go after her mother shows she was the target. A lot of Nigerian parents raise their children in a way that they cannot question or caution them. So they have free hand to cause chaos anywhere.

It may be easier controlling your wife and kids but once extended family gets involved, the situation becomes tricky and can easily escalate.

Sometimes when there are issues in the family, the MIL takes the side of the wife and lots of times, they escalate situations, I used to scream and argue with my MIL it almost got to throwing punches. I despised that woman and banned her from my home permanently.
