Lucky should have walked away instead of murder. As a guy, you never lose self-control to the extent of committing murder, I would have hopped on the next plane to Nigeria. I can't even spank a child for correction. My two boys recently had a fight and the younger one grabbed a knife, I went ballistic immediately.

Much as nothing can justify the man's action,but it's also a lesson for the wife to have tried to tamper the mother in laws actions.
It's possible that the woman came to Canada and teamed up with the daughter to be oppressing or supporting the wife's stubborn and disrespectful attitude to the man.

He’s human. May your patience not be tested after being mentally abused. I have witnessed both sides which is why I covered both sides. It takes a moment of anger and losing your patience just once for this to happen. If people know they have troublesome family members they must protect their spouse from them. If the problem was coming from the wife he would have targeted her when he was alone with her. For him to go after her mother shows she was the target. A lot of Nigerian parents raise their children in a way that they cannot question or caution them. So they have free hand to cause chaos anywhere.
