Gone are the days people used to Respect and admire Teachers. Today, teachers are the Most Mistreated, disrespected and neglected profession especially in Nigeria.
Ladies are unwilling to get married to a man who is a teacher because they are perceived as being poor and always broke. Teachers aren't sufficiently renumerated in today's Nigeria.

The Professional that has badly fallen low remains the Military.

Growing up in the 90s, joining the army was something that was highly revered and widely celebrated.

Judiciary and police...our Judicial system is a joke and in a complete state of quagmire... while the police is deeply rooted in curruption right from 80s, but seems improving lately... oh' it seems I've forgot that law is meant for the poor..while police is a poor man's friend too.

I 100% support your above post. The guy exhibited an extreme level of maturity and that is class. You rarely see such these days and it is always commendable to see this even in a faceless forum, where it is easier to resort to insult or to unnecessarily justify their position. I salute such level of discipline and a well rounded positive view.
