You know I told you to check statistics. Junkies die at a high rate before they end their life. Gambling does not kill. It takes on you gradually with HOPE, renders the person useless while still breathing.

Drug can’t get you fat, it will kill. At some point, addicts know they will lose the battle to drugs.

Gambling does not tell you that. It gives you hope like you going to be a billionaire oneday while it’s wrecking you.

Drug addicts get to stages when they cannot coexist with normal people. They find a niche. Gambling will make you look normal among people while you dead.

I dropped a thread a few years ago about how I was able to stop smoking a few years ago, check my profile.

Now, I've been thinking lately about how I was able to stop that addiction and how I never looked back. Recently I stopped gambling too it's been 9 long months without giving my hard earned money to bookmakers. I'm wondering if other people find it this easy to quit a bad habit.

I hate to admit that I find myself addicted to a lot of immoralities and I've taken it upon myself over the years to TRY to QUIT these things. Recently I stopped watching porn I started at the beginning of this month so far so good, though I get the strongest urges to go back into watching porn, eventually the urge might win but for now I'm winning.

So Great minds, have you ever been addicted to certain things and have you been able to quit? If yes Drop some tips for those still struggling?

Hard drugs, it has recked business empires. Am a living witness during COVID-19 lockdown as the cartels couldn't export, it was cheap and consumed locally. A friend recked 50M , fear who no fear drugs.

No addiction is good but I agree with you, hard drugs is a problem.

The warped sense of reality, the damage that it causes physically, the lack of moral boundaries it puts in your life.

I have never started anything I cant stop. Name it I have done them all and stopped at my own volition.
I smoked Indian hemp and stopped when I was almost caught by my mother and I knew she would be heart broken. The fear of disappointing her was too much so I quit.
I was also introduced to gambling and after my friend who introduced me sold his car to bet, I borrowed myself sense and stopped before I get to that stage unfortunately my friend is still stuck there.
Sex is normal and I am married now with kids so I gotta stop playing outside game.
Alcohol too was stopped cos my wife dislike it and I did that for her.
Overall I think I have good control of my bad habits and stopped them when it matters.

did u try mastubation? If u did u ll never stop since u think sex is normal. Sex isn't normal. U should try and stay six months without sex cos if its normal u would have been having it as a child of 0 to 12 yrs. Sex is also an addition.

and it ll help you feel u don't need money truly since u can enjoy what people with money enjoy and u even do it with the most beautiful celebrities in ur mind at any time and as much as u want.
But u ll understand when u start getting old that u need money to feed ur self and ur body needs semen to recover the wear and tear of the system. Mind u mastubation will likely be everyone's oldest addiction followed by bitting of nails.

I don't get what many people are saying here, masturbation is an addiction yes, but is it worse than any other addiction out there, no.

Bro I once have the addiction off sportybet and bet9ja but I come out of it alive because my eyes open the night l lost almost 500k to sporty hero
