What is your business over disagreement between two billionaires, don't be naive, in life it is about interest, your interest is in reduced prices, unless you are a gas marketer...but the interest of Nigerians supersedes your interest and that of a few gas marketers, Nigerians love reduced prices, you can venture into another business if you can't adjust or compete, and stop sounding like a saboteur.

How can marketers build refineries?
Dangote wants to mischievously take millions out of job to soley benefit himself so as to sustain his richest man in Africa status.
If he wants to help Nigerians, he should go into agricultural food production everywhere across the country

That is not an issue, the marketers should pull funds together and form a group then start their own refinery then drop the price lower than his to beat him at his game

This talking point dey muze me. Dangote cannot be a monopoly in LNG because there is also NLNG ( the largest player). We should rather support Dangote to fight marketers who are importing what we now have in excess with NLNG and Dangote.

People are facing hardship & u here talkin of marketers that want to unalive the masses with their greeds. They can maintain themselves from previous fains, that's why u need Economics to be a marketer.
Ends is not 1 sided; could be a balance on loss or more gains, either way u must accept it

He should crash the price and damn the consequences. Any type of reduction is good for Nigerians at the moment. The system is milking and sucking the life out of the people.

Why don't the join the FG gas monetization program to crete their own LPG plants forfrom flared gas?

Thats why I always say most Nigerians are not good business men, but the are good traders. Just buy or import, add margin and sell. No value add.

2,000 Tonnes and they are crying? Really?

Dangote isn't getting anything from NLNG, he is producing 22000tonnes per day which is sufficient to disrupt the market.
LPG is a waste product, majority of the cost comes from logistics, so it's easy for Dangote to bring down cost as he needs little to no capital investment for production beyond storage.
Our annual consumption is about a million plus.
With 22k tonnes daily, he will be producing about 800k tonnes.
NLNG isn't selling its whole production to the Nigerian market, only a percentage of it is allocated to the Nigerian market, which is about 400k tonnes per year, the rest is exported.
Dangote production is likely to increase with time, and with lower prices, Nigeria consumption is likely to go beyond 1m plus to 3 to 5m tonnes per year

And the way to keep millions of jobs is by selling imported gas? Which creates more jobs, importation or production? What stops the marketers from marketing dangote's gas. O I forgot, no overinvoicing possible as against NNPC.

Well, BUA and LaFarge haven't been pushed out of the cement market, neither has Ibeto cement.

Ibeto couldn't compete but as usual, his people are blaming Dangote. BUA was the first to enter Edo state and Dangote later came, both are doing well. If it was the bitter people they will cry victimization. They are always afraid of competition. Dangote produces spaghetti but he couldn't gain upper hand from golden penny and he didn't cry. Anything they start, they don't want another tribe to venture but want to venture in another one's own. They are still crying for government to build seaport for them when state are building or partnering with private sectors to build one. Dangote has just announced a seaport proposal in Ogun state, what stop the likes of authur Eze who made all his money from government under IBB to build or partner with other investors to build one in igboland. He prefers to build hotel in Enugu airport. They haven't but will say government don't give the necessary papers meanwhile Obaseki was given for gelegele seaport but he failed to get investors before starting. He was even begging Edo billionaires to invest but due to lack of trust they have for him, they didn't obliged.

As for the Cooking Gas thing, Dangote is not producing it but rather getting it from LNG, the same source the Marketers are getting it from.

I can only understand and sympathise with them if they are getting it at a price higher than what Dangote get.

Dangote produces LPG. He is the second largest player in Nigeria after NLNG.

when did u start seeing the BUA and your so called mangal? In the past, he suppressed other emerging competitors through succesive governments machinery and strong support.
It was this Current government at inception that is truly giving other competitors breathing space, it is this current government that BUA cemement/ and conglomerates is alive.

Why would they protest? Now we know the enemies of Nigeria. It makes sense why they have been opposing him all along. The average Nigerian is damn selfish. No true spirit of patriotism. Always self over country.

The Marketers should build a coalition, build a refinery then rival Dangote. Yes he is monopolizing the gas sector. But if that will make the masses have cheaper gas , then nature will welcome it. I pray it comes to pass

God bless you. Why do the marketers don't want to build thier own refineries or partner as you rightly said. They are sad that the free money they get by shortchanging the government is no longer possible. Many of them can conviently build modular refinery.
