Every car should have a tracking device and a distress alert device. The driver or passengers should activate distress alert by pressing a button in the face of kidnap or robbery The security control center (police or army) should receive the distress signal , and dispatch a rescue team nearest to the scene. ( as in 911) Let me know what you think |

Until humans become sincere and dedicated to security, technology cannot save lives. SIM card registration and NIN linkage prove my point. |

Most of these criminals are known to the armed forces i am sure they know there whereabouts, do we have enough manpower, resources to catch them. Are the Forces willing to do their job ? |

immortalcrown:A very valid point, It's not about the technology employed but the willingness to use it to achieve the purposes it was created for |

My guy it’s not about the tech. If you move with rich peoples kid or expatriates. Most of them have tracking devices embedded on them or their carry ons. With someone actively monitoring on the other end. You won’t know if they don’t tell you. Secondly, a lot of bad elements are in the forces, culti..sts especially. Now imagine them collaborating to kid.nap people. Or being in charge of the tracking software. They would definitely scuttle the retrieving plans. This country should be renamed after powers & principalities |

Kidnapping is a political issue. It is not what ifs and elses can solve. |

xprojectlive:Hello Sir, the best solution would have been a button to press at the slightest observation and the kidnapped teleports to his or her choice location. That means you set the device up before leaving the house. There are other details in store... Human influence could affect the complete rescue. If this solution is possible then that problem would be completely solved. |

xprojectlive:This system is actually somewhat available already, but just like many other systems, they don't necessarily work as intended here in Nigeria. The general name is something called Amber Alerts first used in the US after a girl named Amber was kidnapped and would have been easily saved if there was a way to alert everyone where she was last seen. It's now a feature that's been added to mobile phones. Nigeria's Amber Alert system is somewhat different tho, you might want to read about it. |
