Bros he said the truth. Obi can not win alone in 2027, it will be very very difficult. Like he said his best bet is to deputize Atiku and they will win flawlessly barring any rigging from the rigging master himself.

For those quoting me, Yes, Atiku can win alone. In fact that was the essence of the OP creating this thread, according to him what he saw shows the North are behind Atiku.
Big sense no be deliver the country from APC? It is a welcome development. But if Tinubu work harder and do the needful because he has all cards at his disposal? Fine way to make Nigeria work again as it is now, na 12% ba3 Tinubu get.

Have you made a reasonable point, big NO. Atiku is a candidate for 2031. The power remains in the South for now. Go home and take a chilled cold water while you ponder about it.

With what I saw yesterday in kastina when Atiku attended buhari burial that man does not look like who we step down for obi Omo as I see crowd chanting sai atiku in the company of el rufai and tambuwal and ADC chieftains walking. Along side atiku how Obi wan take get that ADC ticket he wan vanish am?

Omo Obi 2027 bid is almost gone my humble conclusion is for obi to lobby for the ADC vice presidential ticket and run with atiku as simple as ABC. Make he no listen to any motivational speaker. To be number 2 man for Nigeria no be teeth. Even goodluck step down from his role as Governor as bayelsa to accept vp ticket so obi half bread is better than non.

My humble and sincere Advise sir
I have long said it Peter Obi should forget about the ADC coalition instead he could’ve be in Labour Party and still be a flag bearer and people will definitely support him as before but seeking alliance with those political leaders who the entire Nigeria want to change from corridors of power then he is equally rated among them and I am not surprised if he won’t change anything if he eventually becomes president

It’s earlier the better we start talking about referendum instead of all these circled politicians who will never effect any positive change in Nigeria, Northerners will still vote Atiku over Peter Obi come rain come sun

A big question is this. Can atiku win without the SE and SW ? Can the NE and NW and maybe the NC sufficiently win the presidency? The math's shows otherwise . It will be impossible without someone like obi coming on board . I keep saying this . The only way Tinubu can be defeated is with Atiku -Obi.

My own is that we, igbos need to be smart this coming 2027 general election. If OBI won't align properly with ADC or APC which is the main political front then we shouldn't vote his LP which is going to eventually lose.

Igbo people have suffered too much on political marginalization. Playing a different tune will only create more enmity and wins us nothing at last.

Obi should align with atiku, even if he loses ADC primary, he should remain there because if he go ahead to follow Aisha Yesufu's advice and run against atiku and lose, then apparently, atiku later wins the general election. The igbo nation will experience another eight years of marginalization coupled with the one we are in already.
Very correct analysis obi doesn't have the people to defend and protect his votes having the manpower to man all the polling booths in nigeria is no joke obidients should put their emotions aside and face reality.

I still insist that the surest route to igbo presidency as things stand today is Atiku/Obi ticket in 2027
Atiku will be 80 in 2027 if you know what I mean. And if it doesnt happen the Jonathan way, Atiku can support Obi or an Igbo man in 2035
The North will support either a Northerner OR a Muslim OR an Incumbent OR a combination of 2 or all of these. Sadly you need votes from the North to win Nigerian Presidency
-I expect attacks and abuses
If they will listen. This is what I have been telling them but it seems our people like doing politics with emotions not our head that's why this country take us for a ride. Buhari said we're a Dot in a circle but they failed to think logically the meaning of what he said. If Obi fails to align with Atiku and go the way of few of his so called Obidents fan, we will never smell that power again in 50yrs to come. Obi himself knows what's at stake now and he knows Atiku is his last chance.

Though this goes against rotational presidency, anything that would stop Tinubu in 2027 is okay by me. The only way to achieve that is by an Atiku / Obi joint ticket. If they run independently, Tiinubu wold win fair and square.

if "Atiku can win alone", why has he not won all these years?

what did he see that "shows the North are behind Atiku"?

who is the "north"?

If you're confident that Obi can defeat Tinubu in the South and protect his votes, then he should go ahead and contest as an independent candidate. Tinubu will come third in that scenario. The North is already settled for Atiku and Northerners will defend their votes, plus they have the numbers. Unlike in 2023, Atiku will end up getting enough votes from pragmatic Southerners and Easterners who wouldn't want to sink with Obi. This will be enough to take him through the finish line. The coalition would forge ahead with or without Obi. Infact, Obi needs the coalition more than the coalition needs him. Numbers don't lie.
I wanted to ignore dis but I won't....d only person to beat Obi is Tinubu not Atiku.....Tinubu because he has d power n d machinery to do that....Atiku has more followers in his Adamawa or so....not even all d north....u can use d last election to compare

Just tell me about from South East where can he win in 2027 election. You think this is 2023 election that he took his opponent by surprise but this time they will tie the loose ends.

No need to tell obi anything he is a defiant. How on earth will aboki started and formed a coalition and will now say it is a Southern man, a christain and a igbo man he will give the ticket to, is that not a bloody white elephant dream and utmost madness?

Obi eyes go clear soon we have told him already but as who he is as number one defiant of the universe.
How is that your problem omo iya? Obi is definitely going to work with Atiku to kick Tinubu out of Aso Rock, kiss the truth

I don't agree with you,I see that ADC scattering before 2027,there will be many fights there, because many of them wants to be the president..no one wants to be vice
With the type of crowd obi dominated at the last presidential election, if he agrees to be vice to anyone come 2027,he will regret it
let Obi just stay on his own, even if he wins or not.
What crowd are you talking about?
Obi won't get half of that crowd if he runs alone.
Hmm, you think Nigerian politics is bread and butter to remove someone like TINUBU? You think Tinubu na Goodluck Jonathan??
Dey play, Obi wey no dey give shi-shi wants to run with a sitting president with the beckon of national asset at hand.
He needs someone to match him power for power, rigging for rigging, ruggedness for ruggedness, money for money, which Atiku has in abundance. Obi alone will fizzle out reason: Igbo factor,
2, He is way too calm for a politician.

Thank God it's just your advice. Obi is not doing any vp for anyone, it's either obi or tinubu should continue. What is Atiku still looking for in aso rock? With what we've have experienced with Buhari and tinubu, people are still calling for atiku? We're not serious in this country
But you want Tinubu to continue but not Atiku. You aren't serious because Atiku is better than Tinubu.

U dnt follow politics at all... Haven't u heard or noticed we running a rotational presidency btw the north and south...?

Try and understand that, Atiku will step down for the southern candidates and support Obi but on condition on a one term tenure
Suddenly your ilk see the benefits of a quota system. Quota system, I thought the east was above it?

- Nigeria does not run a rotational "anything". Parties "political parties" use the quota system to appeal to the electorate.
- Our constitution has no recommendations or laws for rotational "quota" presidency. Only appointments!
- PDP set aside the agreement for "quota's" when Jonathan ran for presidency for the second time against the original agreement "rotation"
- And PDP has never recovered ever since!

It will shock them this time. Obi will do gra gra first then end up as deputy. He could lose even close to 50 of is voters but it does not matter. ADC only need 25 percent from the South. The North will overwhelming vote for Atiku.

He has more gain now than b4.. everybody have seen Tinubu and Atiku presidency.. we all know what they can offer.... The only new hope and golden opportunity is Obi

He is the only one Nigerians will say okay let's hope and try... Others have been tried and tested... We all know d results.

Obi likely the president 2027 with or without ADC .. people only
You're being delusional.

Do u tink atiku can win alone?
Akltiku has support in North, obi has in the south, they either find an arrangement such as obi does 1 term, then atiku goes,, otherwise both of them would achieve noting

Check Obi's spread in 2023,check Atiku's.
A man that won in both Lagos and Abuja.
Obi has more chance of wrestling the presidency than Atiku
Many people would rather vote for Tinubu, not vote at all, than vote Atiku.
Me for one, rather than dash a vote for a 80yr old,Northern oligarch, would rather give it to Tinubu, despite his shortcomings.
Obi as VP would generate same lack of interest.
The mistake Obi made was rushing to join the ADC when he wasn't sure of the ticket.
I am sure the game Atiku and his followers will be selling to Obi is that he should be Atiku's VP,Atiku will do just one term and then back Obi in 2031.That will be the scam idea they would be floating to him
Yes we know that "but" To consolidate the Northern votes from being rigged, he need to support Atiku and become VP.
Atiku can match Tinubu head to head in everything. Including; Mind to spend money, Thuggery, Rigging, Supporters willing to defend their votes, Organic/Grassroot support, Atiku can say anything and would go scot-free unlike Peter Obi (reason: Igbo factor).
North Rules the political fabric of this country, Get that into your head. Population wise, everything... and if they stand to defend their votes, no police or army can stop them unlike Obi.
No people will have 4yrs to get back to power will want to vote another southern to do a straight 8yrs in office, the opportunity they have now to get back to power is by supporting a fellow brother who is running in 2027. Which they currently told you guys.
Politics is not by emotions but by being strategic! Your goodwill and manifesto will come into play when you get into office and people see your performance (clue: Take Enugu governor for example) nobody is saying about LP in that state.
He is very sure of 2027.
