There's one question I keep asking, while we some people keep working in an establisment after not being paid for at least 2 month.
Dem no pay you for one month, ok no problem you're hoping on getting it the next month and the next came and go yet no pay and you continue till over a year.
Honestly I don't know how to comprehend this, my own is after highest 2 month I stop work. Ok, how have they been feeding since over one year they have not paid. So matter needs to look into

I hope this is not the scenario that played out here.

My brother it is still the same situation. Probably, they were employed by the immediate past governor or vice chancellor. It can be painful.

Well, this is not to defend LP or any party, but if you look at most of our state universites, even the ones that pay regularly, they don't have enough facilites and enough lecturers. And yeah, someof them have had payment issues in the past.

Boils down to one things....are state governors going to increase taxes, or increase fees to make them unis world class?

That is the scenario. What more often caused this is when a governor looses an election, the next thing is to employ thousands of workers into the state civil service: state institutions, ministry, department and agencies.
The undue process of recruitment has brought this on them.
