investigations reveal that a part of this plot may already be in its implementation phase with the institution of a panel of inquiry by the Nigerian Police Force to examine reports that the Governor of the State, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, was behind the cycle of violence that marred the recently concluded rerun elections in the state.



According to our sources, a preliminary report indicting Wike on allegations of bribing and threatening to kill staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been handed to the panel. The preliminary report also indicts Wike on allegations of inciting violence, murder, illegal possession and distribution of fire arms and sundry other allegations.

LeadersNG gathered that Ameachi and Dakuku Peterside, Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and defeated APC candidate for the Rivers State gubernatorial elections in 2015, have successfully convinced President Muhammadu Buhari that it will be foolhardy to wait until the expiration of Wike’s tenure in 2019 before he faces justice for his crimes, particularly with the possibility of him being re-elected.

The duo have convinced President Buhari that the declaration of a state of emergency, in a manner similar to President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2004 and 2006 during which he removed Governors and appointed administrators to manage Plateau and Ekiti States, would remove Wike’s immunity and enable the police try him for these crimes.



Our sources say the duo and other senior members of the party believe that Wike’s removal from office under this guise would also give APC the opportunity to win elections in the state without Wike’s interference.

its either you didn't read my post or you didn't comprehend. lemme simplify. If the inec officials mentioned in that tape ended up getting killed, wike would be a goner today. an inec official getting killed is not a pipeline getting blown up. yes a dsp was killed but nobody was caught on tape threatening to kill the dsp. and I stated clearly, a state of emergency cannot be declared. so what is eating you up? what is tickling you?
