I personally do not think that Obi has not looked at the issues properly and analyzed it critically before joining the coalition.

Without a handshake across the Niger,no region can single handedly unseat an incumbent.
The north are not the only one with ambition.
It's still the turn of the south. The north not only brought two consecutive disaster presidents on the nation but also endured their sons abysmal performance as president Without complaining. They should take responsibility and support another candidate from the south and wait for their turn.
The southeast supported obasanjo a yoruba man, supported yaradua a fulani man, supported goodluck an ijaw man , supported atiku in 2015 .
Everyone can go support his tribesman but it's different for the igbos?

Freshtruth:
With what I saw yesterday in kastina when Atiku attended buhari burial that man does not look like who we step down for obi Omo as I see crowd chanting sai atiku in the company of el rufai and tambuwal and ADC chieftains walking. Along side atiku how Obi wan take get that ADC ticket he wan vanish am?

Omo Obi 2027 bid is almost gone my humble conclusion is for obi to lobby for the ADC vice presidential ticket and run with atiku as simple as ABC. Make he no listen to any motivational speaker. To be number 2 man for Nigeria no be teeth. Even goodluck step down from his role as Governor as bayelsa to accept vp ticket so obi half bread is better than non.

My humble and sincere Advise sir
Thanks but no thanks.

Obi will remain in LP and be its flagbearer. Thank you.

I suggest that proper consultation should take place before reaching conclusion ahead of the forthcoming primaries. Except they want Tinubu to go for a second term, Obi and Atiku must fully align irrespective of who is taking the flag of the A.D.C or being the running mate. My reasons are; Atiku will command organic kind of support in the North, while Tinubu will make waves in his Southwest states and with the power of incumbency, Garner some votes from some parts of the North Central as well as South South. As for Obi, he will make waves in the South East as well some parts of South South, North Central and divide votes in Lagos. If Obi and Atiku happen to contest on different political platforms, BAT would have an edge with slight margin by working with few Governors in the North adding to the Southern votes which might come in block....... My penny advice though.

If obi leaves the coalition to run on different party.I won't even waste my time to vote him
I will not be part of go to court again.
He needs the coalition to defend his vote whether as president or vice

Bros he said the truth. Obi can not win alone in 2027, it will be very very difficult. Like he said his best bet is to deputize Atiku and they will win flawlessly barring any rigging from the rigging master himself.

For those quoting me, Yes, Atiku can win alone. In fact that was the essence of the OP creating this thread, according to him what he saw shows the North are behind Atiku.
..but peter obi was the running mate to Atiku in 2019 election ..while there were in PDP but Atiku still did not win 2019 election with peter obi as vice president candidate

Atiku should play smart.
He should sell and bankroll Peter Obi's candidacy, both in the north and in other regions.
If Obi is elected and completes two terms, Atiku can then vie for the post of president.
And the reason for the above to be done is simply that, if Atiku goes the other way, obi, another way, not one of them will succeed in becoming the president.

Suddenly your ilk see the benefits of a quota system. Quota system, I thought the east was above it?

- Nigeria does not run a rotational "anything". Parties "political parties" use the quota system to appeal to the electorate.
- Our constitution has no recommendations or laws for rotational "quota" presidency. Only appointments!
- PDP set aside the agreement for "quota's" when Jonathan ran for presidency for the second time against the original agreement "rotation"
- And PDP has never recovered ever since!

If they will listen. This is what I have been telling them but it seems our people like doing politics with emotions not our head that's why this country take us for a ride. Buhari said we're a Dot in a circle but they failed to think logically the meaning of what he said. If Obi fails to align with Atiku and go the way of few of his so called Obidents fan, we will never smell that power again in 50yrs to come. Obi himself knows what's at stake now and he knows Atiku is his last chance.
You nailed it, doing politics with emotions is the problem

Y'all sometimes say things as if it's black and white without recourse to a political trajectory. Maybe out of mischief or lack of ignorance. Atiku can win alone, why didn't he win alone in the last election? Mtcheeew.

Any other person but not Tinubu in 2027.

We need someone to correct the nonsense this man has done.

I don't like Atiku but I would prefer him over Tinubu.

Peter Obi should run from LP.

Power this time should come from SS/SE.

If you're confident that Obi can defeat Tinubu in the South and protect his votes, then he should go ahead and contest as an independent candidate. Tinubu will come third in that scenario. The North is already settled for Atiku and Northerners will defend their votes, plus they have the numbers. Unlike in 2023, Atiku will end up getting enough votes from pragmatic Southerners and Easterners who wouldn't want to sink with Obi. This will be enough to take him through the finish line. The coalition would forge ahead with or without Obi. Infact, Obi needs the coalition more than the coalition needs him. Numbers don't lie.
This coalition is the brain child of Prof Pat Utomi, Obi took it to Tukari and Turaki is leading the charge. We all need it but Turaki needs it more. If Obi stays away from 2027 Tinubu will win not even the allies of Turaki will deliver 25% in the south. Atiku and Obi are playing the public but Tinubu knows Atiku and Obi are on a ticket yet acting up

We in the North don't know what you're talking about here. In 2027, you'll realize Nigeria doesn't start and end in the North East and North West.

Tried it when, in 2019? It means you are not abreast with political dynamics of the country. How can you compare the two of Atiku and Obi of 2019 and now?
Below is a breakdown for you.
There is no Buhari on the Ballot, Obi has amassed much more follows than 2019, Nigerians tend to hate the government in power now than in 2019, Atiku seems more out this time than 2019, There is a coalition etc.
Was Tinubu in the ballot in 2019, apart from GEJ, no other president can be removed after first term not to talk of Tinubu, he is more grounded than 1000 Atiku and Peter Obi.
