His father behaved like the father of all. The whole problem started when a particular COW president emerged supported by some suffericated mumu people to derial the progress of Nigeria. Since then, it's been from one issue to the other.

Just to think that the opposite will be the case when Tinubu's child wants to wed.

One of those people is now occupying the position still acting like he doesn't understand the system, doesn't know what next to do yet his supporters will be praising him.

Read a lot about his father. Unfortunately, i was never around Nigeria all through his tenure. But I have never read anyone seriously talking bad about the man. That says a lot. I don't know whether this is because Nigerians have been so pulverised by their tyrannical presidents, so often that they have now lowered the bar to the minimum, or that the man was actually good. Which way, one thing that is very self evident is that until Tinubu, Nigerias presidents without any military background have proven to be more humane and people oriented in their policies when juxtaposed with the ex Generals that have messed up this democracy.

I hope Tinubu’s children can see this.

May Allah continue to bless the family of Late former president Umaru Musa Yaradua. May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace in the bossom of God Almighty. He was indeed the best president of our time.

Many Nigerians are very easily deceived and have short memories. The same Yar'Addua that people were accusing of high-level of tribalism during his tenure, high-handedness and with cabal members calling the shots even before he fell ill, are whom they were now praising as being the best.

I agree that his stint in office was short and so we may not be able to perfectly judge his administration on work done, so best on what?? Because he reportedly sent letter to the NASS to transfer power to Jonathan and his aides blocked it??

MODIFIED: I stand by my statement that people are trying to do history revisionism by heaping praises on Yar'Adua. He was just a figurehead whilst the cabals (Yayale Ahmed, Abba Ruma, the NSA, Babagana Kingibe, Aliyu Gusau the leader, etc.) were the ones ruling and Nigerians were complaining bitterly that we'd entered one chance.
I have sympathy for Yar'Addua, but I'll not do so through lies.

It's funny how narratives turn to myths and legends.

What was good about the presidency of Umar Musa Yar'Adua if not the fact that he died in office?

First governor in Nigeria to publicly declare his assets, moved Katsina from debt to $50million dollar surplus, focused on education and healthcare, elected President, declared assets publicly, followed rule of law, obeyed court rulings even those that favored opposition, released Lagos funds seized by OBJ, achieved amnesty for Niger Delta militants, admitted he was elected through a flawed electoral system and started electoral reforms through justice Uwais committee, started River Niger dredging, many infrastructural projects

Nigeria didn’t become a first world country, but he started doing the right thing and people admired that.

Let's agree Nigerians have short memory. The question now is, will Nigerians say same about Tinubu's two years? Didn't Osinbajo only take charge for like six months for Nigerians to prefer him to his late boss?

Yar'adua was a good man, but saying he was the best for only spending 2 years in office is vague. Olusegun Obasanjo made more positive impacts than any other Nigerian leader since 1999.
