I would advise you to dismantle the vehicle and waybill it bit by bit. Once it gets to your desired location, then u couple it. Hope this helps  |

9icetoo:The Best advise so far If you can drive yourself down to East do as he said but if you can't drive yourself still do your paperwork correctly no mistakes Where they write 2 make sure is 2 not z if not police go use you shine. If can drive yourself hold everything as he or she said over here then you will be showing police love if you feel like Custom people you will give them officer on duty 1k when I know I don't know if it has increased now You no get issues with police,road safety if every he said here are available Sit on seatbelt and have scissors ✂️ or razor blade inside the car too. Chidimercy:You must settle even.all.papers are intact U will get delayed on the road if the vehicle is newly registered because police know new number plates .. U would even get delayed more with a new number plate than unlicensed vehicle that the driver knows his way . To.mimimise road expenses get someone who is involved in taking vehicles to the east .. The driver may charge u outright for his service and road expenses .. If he settles less it's not yet concern .. The driver may also tell u to be the one paying when u get to checkpoint .. The surest way to.minimize road expenses is by leaving Lagos by 10:30pm.. U can be following a fast moving luxury bus bumper to bumper Na I'm go dey clear road for you .. Or u can drive at ur own speed U have less police officers and other government agents on the road at that time of the night .... From Edo State to Onitsha head bridge Na vigilante full road for night as against police .. During the day once u pass ijebuode Na so so police .. Chidimercy:The law says you have maximum 2 months after date of purchase to register a vehicle. Just get original customs papers and pay your duties completely. |

You can drive the car down yourself to any destination as long as you have a genuine custom papers,your driver's licence and any other means of identification. Please make sure the duty is fully paid to avoid customs issue. As for the men in black they can't do you nothing unless you don't have a driver's licence, patapata they will just tell you to find them something. Getting a new liscence plate is 50/50 for men in black oooo |

It's not a big deal as long as you have all the necessary papers for the car purchase and your driving licence. I am speaking from experience because that is what I do regularly as a side hustle. I buy and sell cars and I also help my clients transport their cars from Lagos to any part of Nigeria without plate number. I think your manner of approach to any official that stop you on the way matters a lot as long as you have the necessary things I mentioned above. |

Yes you can transport a car from Lagos to the East. Get a soldier from the east or from Lagos that you trust. Give him money for fuel and small tips. He will deliver. |

diabeticdeals:Lol. Dey there na. I support any legal thing a man does to survive this hard period. He charged 200k for his services. And another 100k for fuel. Which I am very sure he didn't exhaust that amount on fuel from Lagos to East. Because the car is a corolla. Good fuel economy. He arrived east in the evening and went back to Lagos same night via night bus because he was on duty the following day. I doubt his salary for a full month as a solder is up to that 200k he made in just one day. And I even tipped him another 10k when he arrived. 1 Like |
