How to get your 9mobile running...
To reconnect your 9mobile Line, Go to Phone Settings>Mobile Networks>Operators>turn off Automatic select>Choose 9mobile or MTN 4G or MTN NG or 62130. Thank you ..

They sent me a message on how to connect to the MTN network sometimes last week when I mailed them to help me rollover my data plan but I ignored it because the line was not in any phone. I didn't go about it till last night and ever since then it's been smooth, hitch-free browsing, I didn't even need to restart my phone. Something I've not experienced on the network in years! I hope it remains like this. The over of 20gb regular data and 40gb night data they wiped off when their network was unavailable still day pain sha

For those interested, this is how to go about it

Please follow the directions below to activate your 9mobile line.

The Active Infrastructure Sharing (A.I.S.) with MTN is now live. It implies that our esteemed customers will have access to better and improved network services.

Please see the steps on how to connect.

*ANDROID DEVICES*

1. Go to settings

2. Network/Connections

3. Mobile Network

4. Select 9mobile (Network Operators)

5. Toggle OFF Automatic search

6. Wait for a display of available networks

7. Select 62130, or MTN NG/4G/ G/2G.

8. Restart your device to complete the process.

*iPHONE DEVICES*

1. Go to settings

2. Mobile Service/Cellular

3. Network Selection

4. Toggle OFF Automatic search

5. Wait for a display of available networks

6. Select 62130 or MTN NG/4G/G/2G.

7. Restart your device to complete the process.

I heard this a while back and didn't want to believe. More money for MTN. MTN is in for the looooong haul.


They've stopped all adverts. I knew something was actively wrong with them.

You have to do a manual scan for the MTN network on your phone. I posted the steps on how to go about it right above your your posts

They should sell off their shares already, they are becoming stale and indirectly slowing down some businesses.
