ADC Coalition Games Between Atiku, His Northern Plotters And Peter Obi by FreeSpirited(op):
Peter Obi Must Avoid Atiku’s ADC Coalition Trap

The recent ADC coalition involving Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar has sparked debate about its potential to unseat President Tinubu. While some see it as a necessary alliance, I’m skeptical. Obi’s mass movement of aggrieved Nigerians, evident in the 2023 election, is a powerful force, yet political pundits claim it’s not enough without a coalition. I disagree.

Atiku’s history suggests he won’t offer Obi a fair shot at the primary. The coalition feels like a calculated move to leverage Obi’s popularity while sidelining him at the last minute. His allies, driven by entrenched interests, may orchestrate a betrayal, as seen in past primaries. And the recent threat from ADC spokesperson saying If Obi leaves his political career might come to an end is enough evidence to expose their background plottings.

Obi must act fast. He escaped a similar trap in 2023 by joining the Labour Party, which remains his best path to the presidency. He should consolidate his base through grassroots mobilization and resolve internal party disputes. His media team must amplify narratives of unfair treatment in ADC to rally public sympathy, as this could boost his candidacy.
The Labour Party, not the ADC, is Obi’s strongest vehicle. He must avoid Atiku’s trap and act now to secure his place in 2027.

Placing president Tinubu beside Peter Obi and Atiku in leadership and governance, the combination of them don't even reach his Excellency.

The coalition/opposition are yet to tell us what they are going to do differently, may be they will return the subsidy and also add more debt with IMF.

Obi never needed Atiku to flog ur Oga blue black in the last election, he will do it again and do it in a more resounding manner because Nigerians are more angry.
Even his Yoruba brothers are so hungry and heart broken. The North is a no go area for Tinubu. Shettima is already telling him in parables that he's not in same boat with him.

North central is bleeding currently, imagine Tinubu couldn't even visit North central that is being butchered every week, citing bad road as excuse. Just yesterday over 30 were butchered in North Central again.
..
You guys are really kind of funny, dumb or devilish to think you have a say or to think Tinubu has a say. He doesn't
.
2027 will see the madness of the proletariat that has never happened in Naija and the disgrace for you all will be televised

See, put hardship aside, it didn't start in 2023. What new things would the coalition tell Nigerians. When they had the capacity to lead, what extra ordinary things did they do?

If those who are forming coalition couldn't have a say in their respective political parties that made them to join the coalition, the leadership and friendship factor is missing. They lack it

Go and verify came back to be half truth or pure lies. At least I have been saving some video links of Peter Obi discussing economy. That alone would indirectly disqualify him because he doesn't know about the job he's aspiring for

Can you show us the video where Tinubu is elucidating his poltical and economic mastery. Just one aside from the rubbish agbado e kept saying. Even since he came, tell us one video of him itemising his plan and executing it with positive economic effect.
See ehn, if shame and conscience is possession, you truly lack it

The bolded in your post is particularly disturbing. You want Obi's media team to amplify a narrative that you know is not true because Obi has not been given any unfair treatment because Atiku was the brain behind the ADC while using his connections and financial resources to pull other politicians in the country to join. The only "crime" of Atiku to the OBIDIENTS is asking that all candidates to run in the primaries which is what you term as unfair.

You are basically asking Obi's media team to tell a lie on Atiku and amplify that lie just for Obi to gain public sympathy. Do you know how much that lie you are asking Obi's media team to tell on Atiku will damage Atiku's image at national level? But you don't care as long as it make Obi the 'victim' so that Obi will gain public sympathy.

Let's be factual here.

I speak truth, only but the truth no matter what, I don't care cos nobody feeds me and nobody pays me. So my allegiance is to God, to humanity and to my conscience.

What is the truth as it stands now?

The truth is that Peter Obi cannot win Bola Tinubu an incumbent President of Nigeria in a typical Nigerian Presidential election that is usually marred by rigging, thuggery and election result manipulation.

Peter Obi cannot win Bola Tinubu an incumbent President in 2027 because 2027 Presidential election is not going to be about voting alone, its it's going to be beyond voting. After you have voted, what next? Can you protect your vote and result against an incumbent President's rigging mercenaries that will be sponsored by the state? The answer is NO! Peter Obi that I know personally is a man of peace like Goodluck Jonathan, he cannot put up the physical fight needed to counter Bola Tinubu's rigging mercenaries.

And Igbos too are too exposed, refined, polished and republican in nature to put up the physical fight needed to stop or counter Bola Tinubu's rigging mercenaries as an incumbent President.

So what's my suggestion?

To win Bola Tinubu in 2027, opposition must stay fully united, how? Atiku/Obi ticket is the only way to get the opposition to stay fully united and committed to win Tinubu at the polls and to protect the votes and result after the polls, anything less will give Tinubu a chance to rig himself into office again.

With Atiku/Obi ticket, Northwest, Northeast and Southeast will be completely locked down for them.

The battlefield will then be in Southsouth and Northcentral.

There's no labour party to return too. Bad blood between Abure n Obi means he will be heavily sabotaged in his presidential bid, also party has been heavily fractured.
As it stands, Obi can't muster enough northern support on labour which has been weakened from internal power tussle, greed, disloyalty and saboteurs.
The Governors of the states he won easily in 2023 won't fold thier hands and watch him run over them especially since labour controls only one state.

As it stands, Obi's can only be a deputy to Atiku, whose chances are also very slim but can be galvanised with the addition of Obi's online youthful base and the igbo community.

Atiku gave ADC a new momentum and I doubt he did that for another other reason asides his lifelong presidential bid so, stepping down for Obi is far from his interest.

Anything else will achieve the same result of
splitting votes to the advantage of the incumbent.

Their plan is to field Atiku in 2027 with a VP from South (preferrably SS).. Obi's case is just like that of a mice lured with cheese into a trap, they don't want another vote splitting like what happened in 2023.

Obi should use their secret plot to discredit the coalition by exposing the plans, and emphasizing how it's undemocratic and by letting Nigerians understand why the alliance is not based on any progressive democratic ideals and emphasize with points and proof why ADC is another APC type of coalition that happened in 2015 used to usurp and hijack power for personal aggrandizement since 2015 by APC.
.
If he can achieve that, the masses have their own mind, the successs of amplifying the fact that ADC is another coalition of vulture will make Nigerians lack confidence in that coalition and the false naret that those heavy weight are important
And a strong imagery of why Atiku is another dull, corrupt, entitled octogenarian like the failed Tinubu and Buhari who just died, escaping probity after 8 years of destroying our country will go a long way to cement strong confidence on Obi as the only alternative

I will rather the votes is split than Obi come to play the second fiddle to Atiku despite the hopes of millions of Nigerian youth on him. Who does that. It's like intentionally killing your masculinity for a woman who wishes you death. That'self emasculation and committing suicide for Obi if he even tries that.
All of you guys who think he will do that are severely naive as to know who Obi thinks he is

We know your greatest desire is obi to contest separately so that what happened the last time will happen again.
He is wiser and have lost faith in SW present
Corrupt judiciary. He has said it several. The recent is the edo election. He will not leave the coalition even if if he is not the presidential candidate. Must obi be the president in the first place. You are preparing another go to court because he is from a region who is not ready to go to street to defend his vote.
If obi leaves the coalition is better he does no contest because we will never vote SW president.
The only thing that is important is to remove SW president in 2027.The coalition can produce anyone we don't mind.
Whether obi is president or vice in the coalition is nothing. And if obi now says he must be president then it becomes desperation. He will be rigid out and his political career will end...simple .
I am obidient and from SE

Abure only needs money and recognition
The mistake Obi made then was to not understand the true intent and ambition of the people he was working with. Someone like Abure is the easiest to win over, a Tinubu would have won him over quite easily immediately he came to the party with money, land, house, juicy offers etc since he was still a struggling politicians. Sometimes u buy your way and place in a party. That's what Obi should have done and could have done it secretly like a pact between them. He could even identify few people who could give him future trouble or power tussle and settle them in meantime and also promise them juicy offers if their plans work.
.
Now he may have to go do that same thing if he will have any chance of working with Abure... And that's if Abure is not completely compromised by Wike and Tinubu... Cos the man is desperately greedy to make it and belong.
