The price of building materials is falling. If you live in Lagos state, you can take a stroll to Eko, so you will confirm yourself from the Igbos selling them. Landlords are not just reducing price the same reason the okada riders are not reducing price.

The price of goods and services are falling at a slow pace. It's better it keeps on falling instead of rising
The first batch of dangote cement I bought some months ago was at 7500..Last month went to restock and they are still saying 10k last

Call it progress my foot jack up prices by 400% then your polices brought about decrease of 200% and then jacked up 600%. Lol. Inflation will continue to crumble Nigeria if we don't increase production.

Answer the question I asked you

When is the Nigerian economy ever doing fine? Under IBB, Shonekan, Abacha and Abdulsalam the price of goods and services were shooting up

Under OBJ, Yardua, GEJ, Buhari price was increasing

So when actually is the economy doing fine? Because according to you, price of goods and services are increasing so that means the economy is doing badly
according to you:

Ikaeniyan0:
BAT didn't scatter the economy. The economy is doing fine. Cost of goods and services only shoot up because the naira was devalued.
how is the economy doing fine?

if prices of goods and services shot up, how then is the economy doing fine?

who devalued the naira that made prices of goods and services to shoot up?

can you please tell me the year dollar trended for 2500 under buhari?

meanwhile, you have not answered my questions:

1. can you shed light as to how tinubu and his team have been hardworking and brilliant?

2. how is there now stability? stability of what exactly?

3. are you saying that you do not know how the tax reforms will pay out?

4. how has tinubu used "stability" and "reforms" to successfully tackle corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?

So if the economy is not doing fine because the prices of goods and services is shooting up, is there ever a time the economy is doing fine between IBB regime and Buhari administration?

After peaking at over 34% in mid-2024, Nigeria’s headline inflation has now slowed to 22.22% in June 2025, marking a consistent three-month decline. So here’s the question: If inflation is falling, why are Nigerians still feeling the squeeze?
The numbers suggest progress, but the markets still scream hardship. Is this the beginning of stability or just a pause?
Of course, the market agrees. Yes, things are still very hard for working people, but prices of food and other items have mostly stabilized (with some reducing) over the past few months. Anyone that goes to market knows this.
Re: Inflation Has Droped For The Third Consecutive Month In 2025 by commoditiesnig(m):

You're very right. I support price control, even as obtainable in some foreign countries.

Nigeria traders/suppliers have be so greedy.

This is good. We hope it gets better.

BTW:

I just to want to use this space to remind Nigerians how the APC will lose the coming 2027 general elections.

As it stands, the whole of the northern people are 100% ADC.

Except for the Southwest, the whole of the southern populace are also ADC-compliant. So, where else does Ebilokan want to garner his votes from if not from the rigging machinery of INEC, the Police, and the judiciary?
While the masses can vote against APC, you have not factored in the deciders of elections: INEC and judiciary. They and not the masses will always decide.
