Seyi tinubu wife's mother is Igbo from Anambra state.

She's going to be the first lady of lagos soon. When that time comes , you will surely bow to her and call her "First Lady."

Liyel Chinwe tinubu will be first lady of lagos over your mother's, sisters and girlfriends in this lagos. grin
You people always fight for another man's property and land. You refused to develop your own land

The original names can't be wiped away by renaming the streets. For example, a street known as Kaduna street in my state was charged to Bawas street but nobody calls it that. Till today it's still known as Kaduna street, till tomorrow

The hate for Ibos in Lagos is something else
Assuming without conceding that you are even right about this, how about igbos disdain and dislike for yorubas and anything yoruba apart from the resources in yoruba land, particularly Lagos you no dey see that one

Let's assume Tribune is SW media. What about Vanguagrd that is SE media and carried the same news. grin

Check the date too 2017. This was when Obi was basically ambitionless, and his fellow SE people still spoke the truth about his behavior.
Alleged marginalization it read on headline...

So tell me from the paper print.. how Obi refused to allow ppl contest elective position....?

You can only change mere names but can't change their knowledge and power to make wealth. You can't change their identity. Try harder.
Go to your place and use the power and knowledge to make wealth if however you choose to remain in another state which is constitutionally allowed respect your host. Period!

Sometimes I look at black people and wonder how we think. If I wasn’t black myself I can see how all races look down on us. In 2025 look at what we are doing? How can we work together? Why so much hate.

With the exception of China and a handful of countries most nations around the world are made up of multiple ethnicities and find a way to work together. I’ve never heard a New Yorker tell another American to go back to their city.

UAE used oil money to develop Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the money from these cities are feeding the whole country. You don’t see Emiratis from Dubai chasing those from the rural areas and claiming they feed the country or built UAE themselves. Why is it always different with black people? Why so much hate? We can’t grow beyond pettiness.

You hate them, they are also learning to hate you. Alas, we shall know the losers when things come to a point.
That's no problem. You can't be enjoying the comfort that my land , my govt and policies give you as a non indigenous people and still hate me. So, if you Wana hate me, you have to stop benefiting from me by leaving my land. And hate me from afar.

Quote personal incidents where non Yoruba’s have clearly disrespected you. Or you are just repeating what you hear the politicians say so you don’t focus on their failures? Do you want every non Yoruba in Lagos to prostrate for you every morning before you feel respected?

Who is taking about prostrating who needs your prostrations? We are talking about one thing he is saying what is irrelevant. When you come to somebody's land and they open their doors for you, sold land to you because of that you want to claim the land as your own that is total disrespect. The same thing they are doing in Ghana. I have lived in Port Harcourt for years built my house and have lands but I have never claimed one day that the land is now my own neither have seen any other person doing that. I still have great respect for my host. Mind we not talking about non-Yoruba we are talking about easterners, other tribes don't do that na only una!

When you stop collecting from non Igbo Businesses in Owerri, Awka, Enugu, Abakaliki and Umuahia. If you don't want to pay tax in Lagos cos Lagosians changed street names, pack your businesses and leave. We did not beg you to establish business here.
Olodo...I said non-indigenes not only igbos...oyo, Ogun, edo etc are non-indigenes too

After they will be calling "One Nigeria". Where is the oneness?
See my street "Anosike Lane" being renamed because of tribal sentiment.
what has the change of name got to do with your personal life? It is the business of the authority to do that when it deem fit. You are the one whipping unnecessary tribal sentiment here. If you are no longer comfortable living in that street because of the change of name, you can as well relocate to a new place or back to your village.

The funny part of this is that, some of the name of those streets has sticked that it will take years for them to be erase from the memories of the residents.
For example I am very sure people will still be calling Mba street, Achakpo street and Uzor street cus those names has really stucked with the resident and it will take years for them to start calling the new names.
Another example of what I am trying to say is:
There's a bus stop along Iyana Iba to Okoko which is Cassidy before Okoko bus stop.
The name of that bus stop was giving to a whiteman company named Cassidy that was located there back in 1988. Around mid 2000s they rename it to one Yoruba name.
As I am talking to you, the name of that bus stop is still called Cassidy till today. That was bcus the name has stucked with the people
so advise your people to stop wailing.

I grew up in that neighbourhood .
However , I have moved away from that area.
Still , when I am in that area , I will always tell a bike man that I am going to Jones Waribi street or to Mba street and that bike man will still take me to that place .
Let them continue to play there .

What is "Respect your host"?

Does "respect" mean that Igbos and their interests should not be seen and or heard. They should not live freely in their country? They should not buy properties? They should not vote and be voted for? They should not freely associate among themselves and have a leader in their various cultural and ethnic unions?

Are you serious?

How do they "Disrespect" their hosts? How?

Instead of condemning what is wrong...as a Civilised person...you are there bringing shame to our collective humanity
