Do you think Sabmiller or International breweries are indigenous companies?

No let anybody fool you. Better read them up.
SABMiller is int'l Breweries. One firm not 2.

Why Peter Obi come make false assertion say na the Brewery dey pay highest tax in Anambra Statehuh

This rebuttal aside...why is it that Anambra State Government always have that habit of going against whatever Peter Obi sayshuh

This speaks volume ...Peter Obi is not even a respected elder in his own very State of Origin.

It's a big concern.

For example, a Fayose, Saraki will not say something and their State Government will debunk it...even if na lie, the State Government will have to find a way to manage it.

Peter Obi's own get as e be jare
@the emboldened

Soludo is trying to bring Peter Obi down because Prince Arthur Eze keeps deceiving the governor that he will become the first Igbo man to be the president of Nigeria in recent times. When Soludo declares for president, agbadoh people will give him the Peter Obi treatment.

Because Igbos have independent opinion. We are not herded like sheep in to any direction over a plate of amala and ewedu.

Anambra is the most developed State in Nigeria after Lagos and Abuja.
Highly industrialized, commercialized and enterprising State. The population of Anambra is projected to clock 12m in 2027. This is huge and I like how intentional Gov Soludo is concerning opening up the entire State with dual carriageway.

I heard the Onitsha–Awka monorail project is on the pipeline too. Another project that will give massive ROI when completed. Anambra has the population, opportunities and moderate cost of living so any projects built there is heavily utilized. From the Airport, ICC, Dualized Roads, FunCity, ShopRite, Shopping Malls, 10 storey hotel project at Agu-Awka etc.

God bless Igboland.

I thought Soludo fun city investment would have made it here. It's a shame Soludo put up this to discredit obi but reverse is the case that a company set up many years ago is still amongst the highest taxpayer but none has been set up by Soludo to rival it. This financial institution are not in the production sector so, obi was right after all in his statement.... Anambarians should see their prof that is not productive....

Revenue from FirstBank alone is worth more than the brewery almost 5 times.

Just imagine how developed Anambra would have been had Obi given priority to critical sectors of the economy.

If private institutions can generate this much, then imagine how much more the state would make if he made the state very conducive for more companies to clock in.

Government have no business investing in private businesses, just develop provide critical infrastructures and watch the private sectors do their magic.
He actually gave priority to critical sectors of the economy, namely: education, healthcare, road construction and security, and Anambra is relatively doing well today compared to other states because of the vision behind these priorities.

Obiano ruled for 8 good yesrs and was arrested at the airport when he was trying to run away... soludo is ruling people are paying deef attention to his govt but obi who has ruled almost 12year ago is what people are still challenging his gvt. The reason why apc blamed and are still blaming PDP and some nigerians are still been fooled

What I'm concerned with is what happens in my South West which is where my interest predominantly lies.

IGR from Oyo state alone dwarfs those from the entire ones from SE states. Oyo state collects back only a fraction of the money but SE collect multiple fold of the meagre they generate. Brown roof republic is now giving brown envelope to the Igbos.

You and nobody can dictate to me what to post or where to post them. That remains my exclusive right.

If you don't like my comment, read and pass shouldn't be that difficult.
But you are the one that said all of those was not your business 😂😂😂

Soludo is doing well even though he can do better. He doesn't claim to be a Messiah like the man who claims to know it all but whose track records says otherwise.
Re: Top 6 Sources Of Anambra State's IGR — 2024 by AKWATGOLD1(m): 5:08pm On Jul 17, 2025
Am surprised with these statistic because the annual IGR from those banks mentioned is =N=6B annually and let assume that International Brewery been highest tax in Anambra state contributed another =N=6B annually all together make it =N=12B. This shows that the state solely depend on FAAC to survive. The state IGR is nothing to write about.

Show us the IGR profile of those companies attracted by Tinubu to Lagos State. Also publish the performance of students from those Millennium Scholos in JAMB and WAEC in the past 10 years if shame will allow you.

Wrong , he said the money invested in stocks , not the investment in breweries , moreover ,Anambra has just a fraction of that breweries since it's owned by private firm .
Illiteracy does not have shame again. It is the dividend from those shares that are worth 'next to nothing' that yielded over #300mils in one year to Anambra Stsae. Education should come before you can be effective in your job as an 'online troll'.

Give it to Obi.. he is a very thoughtful man...

Banks are not perculiar to Anambra.. they are everywhere... Aside them.. investment in the state Sabmiller is number one

I need an explanation how the banks are showing everywhere.
Banks tops the sources of revenue because of the economic activities in the state e.g,(ONITSHA MARKET)

Banks are the sources of transactions that runs into billions of naira daily which is induced by the huge financial transactions in Anambra state

Traders from within and outside African countries buy goods here.

Lagos state is the only state that has large patronage in trade than Anambra state, even at that, it's the same people from south east that boost the economy there.

So it's the huge momentary transactions that instigates the Banks in Anambra state to top the list

So the brewery na public company?🤣
See ignorance at it peak and u boldly typed it.
Anambra doesn't even own upto 20% share in that company.

And it is Peter Obi's company that is the biggest indigenous company that made the list.

What has Soludo and Obiano contributed?

You are still thinking this is 2023 right? Let me remind you that Tinubu is not campaigning as a fresher, all the propaganda that he turned Lagos into Eldorado has been unmasked by where he turned Nigeria into within first 2years, so campaign with what he has done as acclaimed president and not the deceitful Lagos story that existed only in your mind. The same Lagos where the white people lived when they administered Nigeria directly?
The same Lagos that was the seat of power before IBB moved it to Abuja, that is what a Tinubu without known identity is setting its blueprint, you must have thought everyone is as daft as your people.

These are revenues from the formal sector .
I believe that Anambra's IGR is largely from the informal sector like revenues from its market at Nnewi , Onitsha , Awka and so on and so forth.
