Eze Ndigbo Ghana Meets Ghana Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Releases Statement by attackgat(op):
The King of Igbos in Ghana, Eze Chukwudi Ihenetu, met with Ghanaian Minister of foreign affairs, Mr Samuel Ablakwa, yesterday in Accra, Ghana. He released a Statement on his Facebook page today after the meeting

Interestingly, while Eze Ihenetu was meeting the Minister, fake news propagators went about spreading false News that the meeting was an arrest, and that he had been detained

PRESS RELEASE
REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN IGBO VILLAGE AND ALLEGED LAND ACQUISITION

Following fruitful deliberations held on 16th July, 2025 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), I, Eze Ohazurume 1 of Ndigbo, as leader of the Igbo Community in Ghana, wish first and foremost to express my deep regrets and sincere apologies to His Excellency, the President of the Republic, the Government, Chiefs and Traditional Leaders and the Good people of Ghana for the agitations caused by the news of the acquisition of 50 acres of land (250 plots) in Ningo Prampram in the Greater Accra Region for the creation of an "Igbo Village".

I wish to state unequivocally and without reservation that no plot of land in Ningo Prampram or elsewhere in Ghana has been purchased or is intended to be purchased in the future for the said purpose of establishing an Igbo Village within the territory of Ghana.

My stay in Ghana since 1995 has been marked by respect for the laws of the land and the customs of the people. Over the years, I have not only led efforts to support the welfare of the Igbo people in Ghana but have undertaken many philanthropic projects to foster togetherness among our people who have been brought together by economic and family ties.

I wish to clarify that the claims of the establishment of an Igbo Kingdom which has generated much discontentment stem from an interview granted to Crystal TV in 2013 following my ceremonial coronation as Eze Ohazurume I of Ndigbo in September 2012. The plans discussed in that interview never materialized and were cancelled as far back as 2014.

I wish to assure His Excellency the President of the Republie that, my people and I are very much conscious of the ties of brotherhood between Ghana and Nigeria which transcend political borders and therefore are committed to continue to live and co-exist peacefully-with our Ghanaian brothers and sisters. In that regard, I can assure you that we as a respectable people, cognizant of the laws of the land, shall not engage in any activities that would unravel the strong relationship between our countries, in particular, between the Igbo people and the Ghanaian community.

I take this opportunity to call for calm and restraint on this matter and urge the Igbo Community residing here in Ghana to live peaceably with our Ghanaian brothers and sisters in full respect for the laws of the land and in honour of the values of dignity and integrity that we uphold as a people.

Let me reiterate, for the record, that no portion of land has been or is intended to be acquired in Ningo Prampram or any other part of Ghana for use as an "1igbo Village or Igbo Kingdom".
We shall not establish an Igbo Kingdom in Ghana. We renew our full respect for the laws of Ghana.

Signed

(Eze Ndigbo)

I said it that if you dig deeper, you will discover that a certain people must have sponsored that news. They had to go dig up an old interview that never happened to use it as a source of inspiration to sell their evil agenda against the people of God in Ghana.

Even Reno Omockery their newly hired online media propagandist have been busy trying to cause every human on earth to attack the people of God from the Southeast just because Peter Obi contested for President of Nigeria, something he is legally entitled to as a Nigerian citizen, it is well, we will definitely triumph over evil.

Thank you Ghana government.

Thank you Eze Ndigbo in Ghana for coming out to clarify and to debunk their fake news and agenda

This whole episode was started by the enemies of the Igbo nation, both in Nigeria and Ghana. They took a 12 year old video of the Eze Ndigbo saying he bought 50 acres of land, and misrepresented it as something he said recently

They then went about the Internet telling Ghana people that Igbos were planning to create an 'Igbo Kingdom' in Ghana, and eventually take over the country. They didn't even bother to check if the man actually bought any land

It's sad

He has recanted for his own good.

He even has it on his webpage where he wrote of establishing his Ibo village .

He did an interview recently and even posted on his SM feed that he wants to build his Ibo village from where he will rule as king.

Why is he now backtracking from this ambition of his?

You see someone who was forced to go public to apologise and deny ever wanting to establish his Ibo kingdom in Ghana and you are here scoring that as a win.

I will direct you to his webpage where he wrote of wanting to establish his own kingdom in Ghana and also to videos and interviews where he told Ghanians he was going to build his own personal kingdom .

Why is he now denying all these ?

Keep lying to yourself.

The man's webpage has his ambition to establish his own kingdom in Ghana.

If not for the Ga council of chiefs who petitioned him to the authorities who in turn invited him to appear to them and explain why he thinks it is of any sense to establish mini alaigno that he ran away from in Ghana .

Yes we know that's the false narrative you guys were pushing so that Ghana people would have problems with Igbos. Thats why you guys took a 12 year old video and misrepresented it as something said recently

Thankfully, Ghanaians like the Foreign affairs Minister saw through all the lies.

So it's we in Nigeria that made Ghanians go on a protest against this your usurper fake king?

Wonders shall never end.

Did he at any time ever declare his intention to carve his own kingdom within Ghana ?

Yes or No?

Lmao, the guy don change mouth, apologize, explain himself and back pedal. What is Eze? It means King. You are nothing but a chairman of Igbo association. You cannot be Eze outside of your village. By the way, even Chairman is voted in, so who voted you? It sound like you just woke up one day after boasting on Nairaland and decided to make yourself Eze Ndigbo Ghana. So funny.

Sadwest was behind it. Just because of 2027.

Igbos should know that their enemies are not Hausa or Fulani, but Sadwest.

Conquer which world? Does the world need any conquering? The wars, killings, and destructions that are ongoing never do you?

It is your type of utterance that cause the backlash you and your folks seem to be suffering on numerous fronts in recent times. Why not live your lives and allow others do the same? Who you want conquer sef? Have you conquered or settled the wahalas amongst yourselves? Unguided statements like this should not be allowed.....as it'll only worsen the issue for you.

With this kind of statement, if someone decides not to vote in anybody from your extraction you go dey cry foul. Have you heard other tribes talk about conquering the world?

Sir, this statement is unguided.

Even his Facebook description, he calls himself King. This level of grandiosity is appalling. His apology does not match his intentions. He clearly says he’s a Royal leader.

Go through the link and you will see it’s Ghanaians giving your yahoo King woto woto. Instead of you people to correct bad behavior. You are always blaming someone for your actions. Only 1-2 Igbos on that thread commented like normal people. Na Tinubu boys send Eze-Igbo to be making statements that put him in trouble?

Abeg, just ignore these plebs. I too,, saw the video where he was bragging about his newly acquired land and how he intends to build a big palace in his kingdom and the streets will be named after igbo heros (in ghanaland o) like mbadiwe, zik, ojukwu ati bebelo.
He finished off with the promise that, from this kingdom, his igbo people will continue to EXPAND!

The fact of the matter is that the man said, what he said on the video i watched. When he said it, is immaterial. He said, he wants to build an ibo kingdom in ghana-fact.

Now, would you stay silent if you hear that a ghanaian man is intending to build an ashante kingdom in anambra state on a piece of land , he bought with his hard-earned money?

Thats the false narrative your brothers sold, that he wanted to build an 'Igbo Kingdom' in Ghana, where as, he said he wanted to build an Igbo Village

And of course, they failed to let people know that this were said 12 years ago, and the so called Igbo village idea had long been jettisoned.

They purposefully packaged the video to make it look like it was recent, when it was over a decade ago

Ok oo
