| Five Reasons You Mustn't Envy A Politician's Wealth. by AngelahFlo(op): 12:46pm On Jul 18, 2025 |
Yesterday someone posted Mr Yahaya Bello's latest marriage to his fourth wife despite some pending allegations of the EFCC on him and I read some people's comment about how it's good to have money and be able to enjoy as this man is now. I'm writing this post to give you 5 reasons why you shouldn't envy any politician's wealth. You may agree or disagree. I'm just stating my opinion. (1) Wealth gotten by Vanity shall diminish. That's what the Bible said concerning a Politician's wealth. Case in point: A Bacharach has been dead for almost 30years now. What became of all the money he stored up for himself and probably for his posterity? Eaten up by Administration upon Administration of Presidents past and present. Even the late Former President's administration also had a share of the said loot. You cheat and hustle money for yourself on the guise of storing money for your future generations...hmm! A politician's money ends with the politician in this life. (2) Their wealth isn't transferable as most of their I'll gotten wealth gets into the hands of their aides or anybody who has access to their money. E.g Abacha and even late Former President Buhari. What has become of all the assets that they had both liquid and Physical? What's the point in making and keeping money that your children and grandkids can't have access to when you're no more? (3) Naked we come to this world and naked we will return. Mr Yahaya Bello and his cronies in Politics will not take their money or assets to the grave. And it's not possible to spend all their wealth on this earth to ensure that they die empty with their innate greedy nature. So tell me isn't it vanity? (4) Their wealth are subject to decay. Every wealth and assets they garner whether liquid or physical are subject to decay why? Because they're laying up treasure in a dying system. A system thats on the decline. A system that only favors life on this earth and has no eternal value. Even when they do Philanthropic endeavors. It is to get what they've given back with a plus through another means. Why should anyone want such wealth beats me? (5) You're only a god here on earth. No human is forever young or Immortal. One day they'll die and live behind all that wealth. They're buried in a small hole in mother earth to become food for worms and soil organisms. They become manure to the earth's vegetation and are soon forgotten. As I saw that image of the former President's burial and the few people who were present at his grave site, I'm reminded once again that death is the great leveler. Don't envy wealth that you can't transfer or bequeath to someone with a clear conscience. Why make such money and your descendants can't enjoy it after you're gone. All is Vanity if God isn't at the center of your wealth. |

All this kind of talk most times come from the poor just to encourage themselves that their poverty is okay.... It is outright lack of education and civilization that will make someone in 2025 say that their wealth is not transferable to their children. Again. Let me ask you a simple question, Do you walk about naked? Since naked you came, naked you will return, why don't you just stay naked? Because someone came into the world with nothing and the person will be leaving with nothing he shouldn't achieve something with his time on Earth? He shouldn't make money for his many generations after him to remember him for? Do you know how many generations ago the Dantata dynasty started making money? Do you know any politician that entered politics as a poor man? You think Bello came out of a cave to become governor. You people just sit down and assume that politicians wer broke asses before they got into office. Do you know how much it cost to buy a ticket to contest? Do you think a poor man can afford a ticket and even campaign money? Please go and sit down. Enjoy your poverty and stop encouraging people to join you in it |

Hahaha. Life of a politician is more like like of a slave because, They won't have time for their family . They won't deliver their promises even upon saying and trying The money they looted, they don't enjoy it in peace. They mostly travel abroad to where nobody will recognized them, nobody to oppress or impress . Popularity will take your privacy away from you. Whatever you do, good or bad will be questioned |

Exousiang01:Ain't it amazing how someone can sit down read something and still be clueless. Did you pay attention to the context of my opinion at all? Perhaps you need to read the post again. Amazing!!! Wow!!!!! Dantata you just mentioned is or was an honest businessman who mentored Mr Dangote. Their wealth is a far cry from the one I was emphasizing. That kinda wealth is transferable. Which person who got his wealth the way I mentioned can you mention has transferred their wealth to the next generation? Please if you don't understand the context of a post just read and go. Stop sounding intelligently foolish. Sorry for being so blunt!! |

This is why I slap people if they are close to me and be making this kind of statement. No wealth is different from the other, whether stolen or earned. The difference is in management. An earner will work hard to protect the money he earned thereby applying good financial management whereas a politician will spend lavishly believing he will loot again and before he knows, 4yrs will pass and he fails to get re-elected. He and his cronies will find it difficult to drop the lifestyle of opulence until the wealth is completely finished. Have you heard of any Abacha lately? They can never ever be poor again because I believe they are working with good financial expert who is helping them manage their father's loot. |

Nonexisting1:OK Sir Just don't tow that route and think your financial expert will help you manage I'll gotten wealth wisely. I shared that opinion for a reason and I ain't changing my stance. Wish you know about their personal lives if they are really enjoying their father's loot. Besides you just gave me an idea Thanks for that |

AngelahFlo:You didn't answer my questions Do you think Bello would have been able to buy a ticket, contest for elections and spend billions of naira for campaign if he was poor before going into politics? So in order words you are saying Dantatas wealth is transferable because you believe he is an honest business man but that of politicians cannot be transferred... How old are you? Let me tell, Abachas children fly private Jets from Kano to Sokoto to eat suya and chill with friends in the evening,Tell us how that is possible if all of Abachas wealth went to his aids. You are obviously living in abject poverty for you not to know the most basic about things like investment banking, trust funds etc. |

I'm so happy at the response I'm getting. I started this controversial post because I wanted to prove something and I've been proved right. We live in a world where grew is celebrated. No amount of sane reasoning or argument is gonna change the heart of men who's thoughts are aligned and programed to function along a certain paradigm. To every person who has rebuked my claims I say thank you for making me see. How do you explain to someone with a green tainted sunglass that a brown colored dress ain't light green as he/she suppose it is? That was the point I set out to prove and I now have my answer. Thank you for your opinions. |
