Hello NL, I just bought a new MTN sim card from an MTN shop or outlet in my area, and have been using this line for about 2 months but recently someone just called me and begin to insult and accuse me of theft, the person was speaking Hausa to luckily for me I have an Hausa person around me, so he was a the one that told me what he said, that his phone was stolen and this is his phone number he said he is is Benin, Edo state and am.in Ogun state, but I have the simpack with me at home. I am just wondering and confused.

Not SCAM. MTN sold the sim/registered him.After 3/5 months of no use.

Same thing happened to me I simply told the woman to go to AIRTEL office. That settled it/never kal again

When next he kal you,tell him to go to MTN office to complain/give the phone to Hausa man to tell him so.Very simple.
My son got Glo line.The registered name is iya Hajiya.
