Gotocourt:
The government is the problem not Mr Peller. The earlier graduates understand there's no job waiting for you, the better. I found myself after 10yrs of waiting for federal jobs. Dreams are intentionally killed in this country. I'm 35yrs now to the glory of God. I just found my path in life, use your head if you are seeing this 🙌
absolutely correct, anybody blaming peller doesn’t know the issue on ground. We should be thanking peller for saying the bitter truth most shy away from.

Is it not better you get mocked and smile to the bank for holding camera?
Than dressing cooperate to collect ₦150k at the end of the month lol 😂
No mind them. They should be happy that peller is creating jobs, something some politicians looting public funds could not do.

When Peller offered ₦500,000 for a cameraman role and instructed graduates, including master's degree holders to line up, critics mocked him. But Robert Kiyosaki warned about this in “Why A Students Work for C Students, and B Students Work for the Government.” The book explains why book-smart individuals often end up working for street-smart risk-takers.

The lesson? Degrees don't guarantee opportunity, value creation does.

Peller, by Kiyosaki’s standards, is offering what many “A and B students” are still chasing: a job. And a well-paying one. Instead of criticizing him, ask: Why are master’s degree holders applying for a cameraman job? That question says more about the system and misplaced priorities than about Peller.

It also brings us to the formula:

Ego ÷ Ability > 1 = Failure
Ego ÷ Ability < 1 = Success

If your ego says “I’m too educated for this,” but your ability or circumstances, says otherwise, you're setting yourself up to fail. The harsh truth? Humility plus skill pays. Pride without value doesn’t.

Peller didn’t expose them. The system did. He just put a price tag on it.
YOU ARE WRONG SIR!

Employing a graduate is not the problem, sending a video of the applicant before you even employ them to gain online presence is not only illegal but immoral, applying for a job is not a crime, being over qualified for a job is not a crime as well, I understand he is young and lack the basic understanding of how things work.

He didn’t employ them did he, he used their brains for his own skit…..says a lot about the brains of graduates of our universities. Made money of you by subjecting you to ridicule and cashing out with views yet he still didn’t employ you.

Again your post shows what is wrong with our education system. Garbage in garbage out!

It is a testament to what even non-graduates feel about low quality products of Nigerian universities that a boy who didn’t go to university stated a masters degree (not bachelor’s masters) as a requirement for a cameraman position and yet you all turned up. It means he has had enough encounters with the typical Nigerian university degree holder and believes they are unintelligent and needs to screen them with an additional masters degree requirement, again all for a camera man position. A position that has nothing to do with whatever you read in University.
what is your motivation of applying for a job? Is it not to earn salary that is worth it? Is a Camera man job with salary of 500k for msc holder not worth it?answer these questions sincerely and you will stop blaming peller.

The boy obviously does not know the value of education. He is still a small boy. When he gives birth to children he can keep them at home and say education is overated.

Guy, You're not really making a point as valid as you believe. The flaws in your argument are as follows;

1. He's not educated enough to employ an MSc holder. Like yo! Wtf! Who are the largest employers of labour abeg? Scholars? Nope.

2. The fact that graduates responded to his job posting reflects poorly on our education system. And your premise is that MSc is too high for the job of cameraman. Again, clueless. Go check for the range of degrees available with photography and learn.

3. That he wanted an MSc holder as an employee means he doesn't think that an undergrad is intelligent enough for his purposes. Holy anger dey catch me on your behalf.

You wrote all these with the self-righteousness of a Pope. But you're just really betraying how uniformed you are even though you have a good command of English language.

1: This again is a reflection of your poor education. I never said he wasn’t qualified to employ a graduate. What I said was that a non graduate employee his brains such that he is employing a graduate. There is nothing he does a graduate can’t do but the Nigerian universities filter you abilities to engage your brains and think outside the box.

2: again he requested for an M.Sc. being a camera man has nothing to do with a masters or a bachelors. If you are properly educated to secondary school level and are skilled in the use of a camera that’s all that is required. Abroad you will hardly find a camera man who went to university. The reason you need not just a degree but a masters here is because many of the degree holders lack basic intelligence and the ability to think properly. The masters is not for the job but to filter out hediots…..of which there are many in the graduate population.

3: you don’t need a degree Faro be a camera man talk less a masters. The reason he asked for a masters (and many employers now do) is because they no longer rate the typical Nigerian graduate. Not for the subject area but for basic critical thinking skills and intelligence.

Education costs money. Good education costs even more. If you protests against the government raising fees, a government will say ok no problem. It is when you graduate that some of you will realize you wasted 4 years of your lives. All the people in power today got free education because the government could afford it at the time. Population growth means they no longer can. The same universities they attended here, they won’t dare send their children. You are the ones who protested, so what you see you see!

Why bother going to university when you could have spent 6 months of your life learning the skills of a camera man?

know graduates that earn 1.5m starting salary in Nigeria some companies even more.. They didn’t go to your universities. You learn garbage, you. Earn garbage! Educations costs money, you say no! No problem, what you see in the job market when you graduate, you see!

Personally I have no sympathy for you people because it is people like you that protest fee increases that cause others who understand the value of good education to send their children abroad and the associated risks and stress and upheaval that come with that. I went to a top tier university in Nigeria for my 1st degree, I would like to send my children to the same university but I can’t because of hediots like you!

I feel no sympathy for the Nigerian with a masters degree applying g for a cameraman job. Because when the government tried to raise fees so that all of us rich and poor can get a good education here at home like it was people like you who protested! If you had allowed government to raise fees, the fees of the rich would have subsidized the poor but you heard fee hike and ran to the streets with your placards! Again what you see you see!

There is no country in the world with a population like ours and a youth demography like ours that offers university education at such a paltry cost. That’s why we attract the worst lecturers and produce quack graduates.

Do not give me that crap of increasing tuition fees. Are you aware that a lot of the top people in Nigeria today enjoyed free education during their time? They enjoyed free meals and other benefits while they were studying. Today the story is different and all you you can come up with is paying higher for education. You are part of the problems we have in this country.

Oga no problem, go and test your degree in the job market. Those who went to quality universities get jobs many of them even before they graduate.

People say there are no jobs, you will be shocked at the number of vacancies that go infilled such that many companies employ foreign remote workers or employ expatriates. There are no jobs for you because your degrees are worthless. My sister has a law firm, she told me they employ foreigners for some of their legal work because Nigerian graduate lawyers have poor English and you cannot trust the results of the work without going through it yourself defeating the idea of employing them. They are not the only ones, while you are there with your Nigerian quack degrees looking for work, a lot of work is outsourced to countries like Ghana, even Ukraine because employers who insists on quality can’t trust the average Nigerian graduate. It actually costs them more than paying a graduate say N1.5m a year but they would rather do that because the hm grown graduates are sloppy or poor educated.

That is 5e reason peppers asked for a masters degreee, not because you need a masters degree or a bachelors to operate a camera.

I,m done. Quote me again and I block you

the young chap is only trying to create a buzz online. He wants to give the online space something to talk about . It is more of a content.

if and if truly he needs or employs a msc graduate for dt job, he won't be needing his certificate, his aim is to leave a story for us to keep arguing dt peller employed a master degree holder as a photographer which wil spiral into further arguments to rubbish education.

If he had employed the regular street cameraman , it wud be seen as normal and it won't trend online.
Moreover, those photographers he has been changing all dis while before now dt are nt probably msc holders, did it go viral as this one?

Do you guys even know how.much diz msc cameraman gist has generated for him tru streaming to follow up the story online.

Moreover, i dnt tink this gist is really in the certificate because you cn have a master's degree holder dt is not sound same way as a bsc holder dt is half baked.

It's the effrontery, the audacity to make fun of the applicants.

who cares if you block me. Even in the foreign universities that you praise, some Nigerians in uk do care jobs after spending tens of thousand pounds on msc program. Are you also saying they wasted that huge amount on degree programs just to become care givers?one thing you should know is the world is advancing far beyond degrees,it’s digital skills that pay more these days not pumping in money pursuing degrees.

Peller just wanted to ridicule the graduates and create content. Do you need a masters to take good pictures of a celebrity or you need experience in photography and cinematography? And even if he wants to hire, he has a manager or he could have hired an HR personnel to help him screen the applicants. But we know what he did there.
