Anambra State invested $30 million USD in the brewery project, an amount that was equivalent to approximately ₦48 billion at the time.

Today, the value of those shares in SABMiller (now owned by AB InBev) has dropped to less than $3 million USD. This means the original ₦48 billion investment is now worth less than ₦4.8 billion. In essence, Anambra State has lost about $27 million USD or over ₦45 billion.

Now that Anambra is earning ₦300 million annually from that investment, it would take roughly 160 years for Anambra State to recover its initial $30 million investment.

Apart from being a former CBN governor with vast experience in the industry, Soludo graduated with First class in Economics. I will go with him rather than with someone that graduated with second class lower in Philosophy. How you see am?

The difference is the result of rigging. They likely would have won it clean, but Ngige would be close enough for them not to take their eyes off the ball,, rigging would happen on all sides and it wasn't a walkover so rigging would be needed to ensure APC don't surprise them, of which detaining El Rufai was the least of the doings.
