Seems you are too naive to know the contributions from each region also affect appointments. In next appointments, he will leave the region where he got 70% of the total votes and appoint majorly from the one that gave in less than 2% of his total votes ok!

How is the CBN Governor (SW) an important role, and the Minister of Works (SE) is not, despite the latter having a larger spending budget than the CBN.

How is the Minister of Petroleum (SS) less important than the Minister of Finance (SW). For those of you who want so-called 'juicy' position for your people, the position of Minister of State for petroleum is far far juicier than Minister of Finance.

The Minister of Defence and the Minister of State for defence are both from the North. Is anyone suggesting that these positions are less important than the position of Chairman of FIRS.

Tgh rants are about Yorubas occupying the most important positions are misplaced.

Under Mr Jonathan, the Minister of Finance was Igbo, the Minister of Petroleum, was Ijaw, (where Mr Jonathan is from, and she was married to an Igbo man). Several Igbo and Ijaws occupied some of the most important positions under Mr Jonathan. I didn't have a problem with that because, at times you just want the people you feel you can trust and work with best to occupy certain positions.

Mr Emefiele that was appointed 'on merit', and not tribal basis, according to some of you, did he not turn out to be a disaster?

So, tribe is not a determining factor for performance.

You see Mr Trump also surrounding himself with people he believes he can trust, not necessarily people appointed on merit alone.

The CBN Governor and the Minister for Finance worked with Mr Tinubu when he was Governor. He knew and trusted them. What then is wrong in putting them in 2 positions that are critical to the success of his economic policies?

So the noise about Mr Tinubu only appointing Yorubas is nonsense. In any case, the available data doesn't support such claims.
