Over priced. That's what you get when you're not attractive.

Arsenal used to sign average players with expensive bids. Now we can sign too talents for less

I wouldn't say overpriced though. Elanga and Kudus who had inferior stats were sold around 50m.

It actually depends on the output of the player after transfer.
We got Rice for 105m but today, almost all Arsenal fans think we underpaid for him. Same thing with Ben White who we got for 50m. I think Odegaard too cos I remember some fans preferred we spend such amount on Maddison.

And then, there is Pepe who we got for 72m but gave an output of 20m.

I hope you get what I'm saying bro.

‎🛑‼️‼️‼️ REVEALED ‼️‼️‼️⛔

Arsenal and Sporting CP have agreed on approximately 97% of the total transfer package for Viktor Gyökeres, but negotiations have stalled over the remaining detail concerning the final €2.5 million add‑on.

The dispute lies over here : Arsenal want the last add‑on to depend on higher achievements (e.g. trophies), while Sporting CP insists on automatic payment once #Gyökeres reaches 40 matches across two seasons. That sticking point is delaying the finalization

Kudus and Elanga were also overpriced. You can get better players for same value.

Mind you, White too was overpriced as at the time we signed him. Pepe of off the hook entirely. That was a scam.

When you aren't attractive you spend more. Arsenal then wasn't attractive.

Real Madrid get quality players for free.

Odegaard for me wasn't overpriced at 30m. It was a case of Real Madrid letting him go with his contract almost out. We got a decent price judging from his performance with us the previous season.

We are having a proper window. Getting quality players across the pitch. Unlike last season when we did rubbish because the board didn't support as much (or perhaps it was Edu)

From what I gathered from sources, they want to split the €10m performance related add-ons equally into 4 ways. Arsenal wanted 2 realistic, easy to achieve add-ons and 2 challenging add-ons while sporting wants all 4 add-ons to be easy to achieve. Arsenal has agreed to 3 of the add-ons but are insisting that this final add-on must be based on their terms and must be a challenging one and sporting are refusing. They want easy €10m lol.

Personally, I think this add-ons of a thing should be scrapped. It prolongs transfer deals and brings unnecessary tension between clubs. Arsenal should just agree to this problematic club's demands and get the deal over with. Time is running out, the player should have started training with the team by now.

These Lineup of games ( top tasking fixtures) is not healthy at all... It can even leads to exhaustion before the season start

Exactly
It's not like they are paying the add-on immediately
They are not serious with this deal

The player himself has sacrificed over €2m euros wages. His agent has forfeited his 10% commission from the sale yet th club is not willing to sacrifice ordinary €2.5, money that is chicken change to them! Frustrated fans are asking if they should contribute the money and get the deal done.

Arsenal should consider what this ridiculously prolonged transfer could do to the mental health of the player. I just saw a notification from goal.com about how the deal is putting his dad through emotional distress. This is not good at all and Gyokeres himself is partly to blame

Well, it’s not my fathers money.

Let them do as it suits them. But to me, it shows lack of respect to the player. Both clubs are treating this deal like he is an inferior player despite his stats in the last two seasons.

My hope is that, this should not affect his mentality coming into the team. He should behave like an elite player and carry himself as such, we need an elite striker badly at the moment.

Exactly, time is running out for the player.

We need everyone to hit the ground running as soon as the season starts.
