Has you rightly said, let them come out and say they want igbo presidency then we will understand and can pity them. Ameachi was a far better governor than obi. Fashola and Ameachi were the star of thier set where obi was governor too. Obi wan not even popular and nobody talk about his performances. David Umahi, Sullivan Chime were the best governor in south east then too.

Work on your own delegates especially in the south to block the Dollar man delegates from the north, build structures, connect bridges, fight both with teeth and nails, get the primary tickets then choose your vice strategically and work your way through and hope God favours you. All handwriting is in the floor that atiku will likely contest under ADC. He has started building northern structures. Obi too, if he thinks he has a chance, should start to build southern structures to block him, draft plan B , then keep his plan B secret.
But if we talk now they will say will are Batists. People don't know who Tinubu is. You think he has a weak link to loose that seat? Majority of the opposition knows that but shame won't allow them agree.

The fact is that he's a very lazy politician. Too lazy. I've never see a national leader that is as lazy as him. Truth be told. I support Obi and detest anything call Tinubu. Realistic speaking and talking from experience, Obi can never beat Tinubu in a fair poll. The North and the core north will rather vote for Tinubu than vote for Obi, or they will rather not vote at all. If Obi want to save Nigeria from the calamitous government of the day, he should deputise Atiku. It is only Atiku, a big-weight politician that can wrestle power from Tinubu at the moment. And if Obi fail to deputise Atiku, then it surely means Obi is Tinubu's mole. Let's stop using emotion when it comes to politics, let be logical. People are tired of APC government.
