It's the ignorance for me. So someone who used his money, connection, clout to gather the coalition should stepdown for the one without steeze - no dey spend shishi, no political connect, he won't come to the table with political gladiators other than his Odordients rabid thugs. It's quite laughable ![]() Anyway, whether they want to admit it or not, they know their mesuya is a featherweight. Even when the Buhari presidency cabals and the CPC wing of the APC wanted to push Tinubu away, never once did Tinubu or his loyalists beg Buhari for the presidential ticket - not even an endorsement from Mai Gaskiya. Instead, Jagaban rolled his sleeves and did the required politicking work that needed to be done. That's how you know a leader and an alpha. BTW, they just admitted he came third. Because why is someone who "won the last election" begging the one who came second for primary ticket. Today, you are projecting him to be very lightweight, in 2027 when they beat him black and blue, you will come back to say he was rigged. Comedy central ![]() |

orohbiro:which national cry abi igbo cry. Stop decieving yourself. You guys always boast is the most popular, why is he afraid of primaries. Instead of him to be meeting critical ADC stakeholders but prefer to be visiting states and be doing chochocho. He will visit with camera and make donations. All those student and others he visit are not going to participate in ADC primary. |

orohbiro:This is comic relief. Can you see the hypocrisy in you? So by saying "He will also have the privilege to control obi y he is in power" you are eating back all your past words against godfatherism? Damn! Omo! No one should take you people serious. The desperation is too loud. ![]() |

tunjijones:Thank you. They know how terrible he was as governor and most of them from east condemned him here on nairaland but want to force or bully others to accept a tribal and religious bigot. Has you rightly said, let them come out and say they want igbo presidency then we will understand and can pity them. Ameachi was a far better governor than obi. Fashola and Ameachi were the star of thier set where obi was governor too. Obi wan not even popular and nobody talk about his performances. David Umahi, Sullivan Chime were the best governor in south east then too. |

PriceActionZ:Your entire summary is that "Obi should work." Thank you! The fact is that he's a very lazy politician. Too lazy. I've never see a national leader that is as lazy as him. He would rather tour the entire country in a day so his followers can hype him as energetic on social media. But he will never put his energy in what is the most important in achieve the most critical goals. You wan chase incumbent, you no want work. Even when Buhari was leaving, you don't lazy around like this if you are serious. |

Whois:obi should also use dollars cos he have in abundant. He is never a saint. Those anambra money he kept in his bank as generated enough for him. He must contest the primary or he simply run as he always do. There will be no free ticket if ADC. |

orohbiro:Which national cry ? Why Obi and obidients are afraid of primary? If your popularity is not enough to win a primary election, how can u boast of defeating an incumbent in the general poll ?Why Obi wants to be a baby feeding politician, of course he doesn't trust the coalition just like coalition doesn't trust him too because he'll leave immediately he lose the primary and 2023 would repeat itself, so coalition or no coalition, it's a WIN-WIN for PBAT. |

No southern can beat tinubu. Your obi can’t win tinubu. Only atiku can scare tinubu |

tunjijones:You are very correct. They have used victim mentality and gaslighting to make Obi appear so impeccable, that you will wonder if it is not the same Obi that was the Governor of a State in this same Nigeria, just few years ago. Like you rightly put it, they should come out boldly and say they want Igbo presidency and stop this shenanigans they are doing with Obi. Buhari had used and exhausted that card and games. |

Nemere2020:Truth be told. I support Obi and detest anything call Tinubu. Realistic speaking and talking from experience, Obi can never beat Tinubu in a fair poll. The North and the core north will rather vote for Tinubu than vote for Obi, or they will rather not vote at all. If Obi want to save Nigeria from the calamitous government of the day, he should deputise Atiku. It is only Atiku, a big-weight politician that can wrestle power from Tinubu at the moment. And if Obi fail to deputise Atiku, then it surely means Obi is Tinubu's mole. Let's stop using emotion when it comes to politics, let be logical. People are tired of APC government. Tinubu has lower the bar of performance when it comes to governance. He has nothing to offer. Just manipulation here and there, window-dressing, corruption, prebendalism, nepotism, sharing of palliative, nothing more. No fresh ideas, just the same, just the same, nothing changes. |

Like seriously? Begging to be the flag bearer of a party when you can easily contest and win the ticket! Then why go around claiming you are the most credible and the most popular candidate if you're so sure of yourself? Get this straight! EMOTIONS DON'T WIN ELECTIONS! If you're not willing to fight for what you want, pls take the backseat and allow those who need the ticket do their thing. Even if ADC gifts you the ticket when you beg, will Tinubu also dash you his seat by begging? Begging for ticket makes you look unserious. |

This one doesn't even understand politics, the only team that can grab power from tinubu is Atiku/Obi, anything short of this will not only fail but will end up dividing the votes again for Tinubu, Atiku is most respected in the North and loved than Peter Obi in the East, inshot Atiku is the No. Political Leader the North has Now |

Nemere2020:they shouldn't beg him. Let him do what he wants to do. If he's president, it won't add anything to me, if he's not the same thing. God is my president |

Atiku will be 85 in 2031. This is his last rodeo. Who joins a coalition without knowing the direction they plan to go? Even if Atiku decides not to run, can Obi defeat Ameachi in the primaries? When APC was formed it was clear who was going to run, the primaries was a formality. |

orohbiro:Which National cry? You mean Igbo and obedient's silly cry? Thatbobinis even dragging presidential slot with Atiku shows he isn't one to be trusted. Atiku pushed him to National relevance as VP pick in 2019, he has age on his side, why is he being in a hurry? Tambuwal is like obi but very patient and respectful. 2027 isn't like 2023 where the North voted for Tinubu because of Buhari. They will now vote for Atiku en masse. Even people in the West are seeing the sense in Atiku and a lot of the bigwigs in addition came together for Atiku... Not Obi. Even at the polls, Atiku gets more votes so wtf is these obidients drinking ?? Let them continue. If he splits the votes again like in 2023 and allow Tinubu win, they will wail for the next 12 years and be shouting about how obi won in their heads. 4 years is enough time for someone to have sense. |

A fool said you don’t beg but fight in politics ….like they think we forget all the uncountable begging their their clueless President did…anything OBI is a big problem for the APC…instead of focusing on governance all they think about is OBI….They will die of heart attack the day Atiku step down and declare his support for Peter Obi |

yarimo:As if you have forgotten how Tinubu bought out almost all other contestants and all the delegates to grab the APC ticket. That's how Atiku plans to buy everyone. Obi does not do that kind of politics. He once said and I quote: 'I will rather do the right thing and fail than do the wrong thing and succeed' He can match Atiku money for money. But it will go against his principles. His vast wealth is strictly for charity. |
