Na there their pastor told the congregation to bring their monthly salary to test God 2 Sundays ago.

My step mother work tirelessly to establish a brank around my dad house years ago. She will leave home as early as 5am, return by six.spend her salary to buy some things for the church. When d church started having plenty members, they gang up against her. I just noticed she never goes to church again till she died.

Is it not better to have one holy branch than scatter nasty branches across every nook and cranny head by fraudsters

Let this be made clear to those calling pastors names once they misbehaved, thinking they're angels. Bearing that title doesn't make them holy anyway. Several members of various churches are even holier than most pastors. There are a lot of imams too, who are purer in heart than most Muslims, even Christians. If it's in the character of a pastor to fornicate or steal for instance, that titular privilege doesn't stop him from indulging in them.
As I always say, being a pastor is a very risky job, which a lot embrace for fun today. You're the ears and eyes of God and you must do your best not to betray the God who.sent you. Many today weren't sent. They just ventured into pastoral work because they had a spiritual gift of vision. Joblessness has turned some of them into emergency men of God. Not all of them were called by God

Believe in your God much more than in any pastor, who's a human being, just like you cos you'd be disappointed, should he misbehave. Their judgement is in God's hands, don't share in it. I'm not surprised with what the pastor did.

Most of these "businesses" would fold up once their ogas kpais.

Take the Synagogue and Bimbo Odukoya's for example.

Same would happen to Living Faith, RCCG, Dangote, Daystar etc.

All these "businesses" are a one-man show, the people all go there to seek the face of and worship these "gods of men" and not men of God.

They were built on their names and not on legacy.

Na dem dem. You can hardly see an RCCG Church with high yielding revenue returns without a Yoruba Pastor. Another person may do the foundation. But once the church starts to return huge revenue automatically a Yoruba Pastor will be sent to man the church.
