You are probably too young to understand why this is a big deal. If you enter a place and were told that madam and house girl are there, won't you be able to tell by the difference in dressing. They used dress outdated. It's a good improvement.

If I'm too young then you must be a grandpa by now! House girls these days seldom dress in rags! They usually compete with the madam for the husbands attention!
