2027: Atiku May Not Win But He Must Contest. by chrisxxx(op): 12:12pm On Jul 20, 2025
Atiku wanted a favour from Obi in 2023 to support his ambition. That ambition was for Obi to run with him. It was obvious that none of them would win if they run on a different tickets. Obi was defiant and ran separately. This led to a division of votes among them in what would have been a roller coaster victory for them

Trust a typical Fulani man. They don't believe in too much talk. They suffer their pains stoically and wait for the appropriate time to revenge. The only person who can throw the spanner for Obi in 2027 is Atiku. If Atiku decides to back Obi it is game over for Tinubu. Will Atiku back Obi? Your guess is as good as mine.
Atiku will run like Obi did in 2023 to divide the vote this time for Obi.
Behold! Tinubu wins again.

Atiku will experience his worst defeat if he stubbornly contest.

The issue is that he knows he may not win just as Obi knew he won't win in 2023 but went ahead to contest. Atiku will also try his luck.

Una go just dey type anything Una like.

Atiku never promised or begged Obi to run with him in 2023. Infact, of all the elections Atiku has run, he spent the most in 2019. Waziri spent serious cash and lost, since then, he looks for Governors to bail him out.

He promised the PDP Governors that one of them will be his Vice if he won the 2023 Primaries and that was it. Obi got wind of it even after attending Atiku's manifesto launch, then left the Party.

Now, at this point Atiku is more desperate and needs Obi more than Obi needs him, everybody should go to the Primaries to select a Candidate or Consensus whichever works.

The biggest delusion by some Southerners is thinking Nigeria is the south. Facts available show the north produced 60-65% votes in the last three elections cycle. NW and NE alone produced 48%. Tinubu can no longer get 5.6m votes in the North in 2023, and every vote lost by Tinubu is a vote gained by Atiku. The North has largely aligned, but the South will not align under Tinubu. Atiku got 6.9m votes in 2023 when the clamour for power to move South was more stronger than it is now.

In as much as I want Obi in ADC, if he leaves, he shares paltry southern votes with Tinubu, unlike in 2023. The Northeast has also never produced a President. Atiku is eminently qualified and justified to contest in 2027.

Obi that couldn't get a total of 100k votes in 10 core northern states. Tinubu will demolish Obi before 10am on election day.

So Atiku wants to deal with Obi by contesting against Tinubu because Obi earlier dealt with Atiku by also contesting against Tinubu.

Tinubu is now like that born again christian whose house was attacked by 2 different gangs of armed robbers. The 2 gangs dealt with each other, thereby leaving the christian untouched until the police arrived.

Are we second class citizens?
