I agree. I actually have more morbid fears. Being accidentally or intentionally buried alive or drowning. I grew up where fishing and water related activities are our way of life. I am a good swimmer too. However, I have came close few times to drowning, mostly because of being trapped under water, the experience is scary.

Not seeing God after death is the scariest thing.

Being ostracised from his presence is the worst that can happen to any human.

Dying without having surrendered to Jesus Christ. It's such a terrible mistake to make before embarking on a journey of no return no repair.

Death is part of life, it's like when u sleep but won't wake, that's the difference between sleep and death, it's not painful,

People fear death because of the pain associated with it. Have seen how a man who is hanged by the neck acts in that final moment? It is a very gory sight to behold - eyes and tongue bulging out, serious twitching and stretching of the muscles , pooing/weeing on the body etc . All these goes to show that the body does not want to die, it is trying to fight death by putting up these acts. It is this pain that makes death scary.

Anticipation of it...like for some, going back to the poverty they once escaped...others, remarrying and finding the latter to be worse than the former....
