Grok is good. People are only underusing it.

If you use its "Think" feature, it can reason like ChatGPT. Plus it is the best for idea validation since it has access to real-time X data.

I'd say for multipurposes:

1. ChatGPT.
2. Gemini.
3. Claude AI (for web devs and those building products).
4. Grok.
5. Perplexity AI.

DissTroy:
Peter Obi is starting to realize he's a prisoner of the Obidient movement.
In Politics you make certain concessions to win, even if teaming up with those your base might not like.

Trump teamed up with certain elements to become POTUS47, including his V.P. who was his most vocal critic. Tulsi Gabbard was a Trump critic too.

The ADC would have been an easier ride of Obi and all he has to do is make concessions, including to those the Obidients don't like.

Peter Obi is being propped up as a purist by his base. The man himself has admitted to being fallible but his supporters insist he most keep that halo of piousness over his head.

It means he has to shake hands with the Devîl. At least make a showing of being bend of exorcism.

With Buhari gone, people like El Rufai are sét to take over his cûlt following; or at least a large chunk. Peter Obi is only going to win by making an alliance. Trump realized MAGA alone wasn't going to do it for him.

Do I like El Rufai? No. I remember posting on and on on this thread showing he's treacherous pre-Election in 2022. He's still the same El Rufai. But like Trump, Obi will have to give that frog a dance. Or the chance to get even at Tinubu which will benefit him.

I'm sure Obi knows this. I'm sure he's pragmatic enough to do this given the symbolic picture of him holding El Rufai's hands. He had to dissociate from the ADC after the Obidient Movement thréatened.

But the Obidient Movement aren't willing to look past their emotions. I should post this on Facebook or X, but I don't want to dabble into controversies.

Worse even, we all agree the movement has morphed into a mob. They'd deface my social media wall for stating the truth, or even falsely accuse me.

I guess it's increasingly why some of us who support Obi and still like the man. But we completely abhor the Obidient tag.

Interestingly, it was the same sentiment reverberating at the event I referenced yesterday.

The Obi Movement catapulted Obi to the very zenith of national politics, but unfortunately, it might be the very reason he wouldn't attain a position he otherwise should given such a strong massive following.

Would the mob listen and stop turning on the man they came together to promote? Your guess is as good as mine.

Disstroy only hopes for the best.
After all these ones, you'll still vote for him abi? 😁

I've posted evidence on this board of me pushing for Obi to be President before 2018. I was pro-Obidient before the word "Obidient" became a thing in 2022. I can still post it again stating he's the only reason I was routing for the PDP ticket in 2019.

It's same way many people like Trump because of the ideals he represents, but detest being lumped with the maddening MAGA mob.

You know why you won't know this? Most of the anti-Obidient yet pro-Obi people would rather not deal with the irate mob so keep mute.

One of Obi's staunchest supporters called out Obidients just last Saturday and you all attacked the man calling him unprintable names; never mind that he lost more routing for Obi and going against Tinubu.

My misunderstanding then.

I read your initial post as someone daring people to jump off 3MB for N1m as a dare.

I didn't see the part about video shoot which will obviously be from a safe height. Na now I dey see am.

No vex.
What happens when someone takes up the proposal or dare, and he or she dies, what happens to the person that put out the offer?? Does anything happen?

Just curious...

I agree that based on intrinsic value, properties in Lagos are overpriced, but it's not always about intrinsic value, Lagos is a small city with a very high population, and that can create a situation where demand outstrips supply, and it's only normal the market reacts accordingly.

Maybe the Lagos real estate market is a bubble, and if that's the case we only need wait.
Yeah, the Lagos real estate market is a bubble, and I believe it'll pop in the coming years, not far off from now. I predict between 2028-2029.
The winner of the 2027 will change a lot on the outlook of the country. The person announced will determine if the country will fall to the abyss slower or faster/immediately. It'll be the last stand.

It might not be a bubble

The whole of Nigeria is competing for a small patch of land in Lagos Island because every other part of Nigeria is devastated by insecurity and lack of economic opportunity

It would be interesting to see how many billionaires/centi-millionaires we have resident in Nigeria because at least 50% of them would require a place in Lagos. You can then see how many plots of land are available on the island to see whether there is a mismatch between demand and availability at these prices. The yields are very low though when comparing rental income to property price which indicates Lagos island is more of a safe haven/ store of wealth than an investment opportunity for most of the participants

Likei said earlier, the height varies,we don't know the exact spot the jump will take place, you can't just assume its 70m or 40m.

Now 40m into a river by non professional equals a concrete, pro will do it,it only becomes hard if you hit it with the respective free fall speed of 40m not altered speed or positioning.
40m for pro is still likely to be concrete floor and serious injury or death.

Diving competitions have a maximum height of 27m for a reason.

Saying “it’s not a bubble” just because prices keep rising isn’t a valid argument. Prices can go up and still be irrational, that’s literally how bubbles form. Demand driven by hype, status, and speculation, not real value or infrastructure.
If you think prices will just keep rising forever in a country where basic services are unreliable, inflation is wild, and income levels don’t match property costs then that is exactly how a bubble looks before it bursts.

This is basic economics.
Inelastic demand and scarcity spur sustained rise in prices.

a. The crux of real estate is location.
Prime locations are finite.

b. There's only so much food you can eat per day, so many clothes to wear, and so many beds you can sleep in.
After clearing the bare minimum for comfort, humans naturally seek to store the rest of their wealth. If the store can generate more wealth, even better.

Real estate is humanity's premier choice to store wealth. Applies to all classes, all races, wherever--be it the Western Hemisphere, the East, or the South.

When excess wealth chase few prime locations, you get overpriced assets.
It's that simple.

The expanding global economy, population growth, and inflation add embers to the fire.
After a few years in Canuckistan, Prosper will start his own house project in Nigeria. Even if he doesn't buy or build in Lagos, his funds will enter the economy, where one way or another it'll trickle to the elites who'll bid up properties at VI, Asokoro, Dubai, Texas/Atlanta, London.

Our taxes. Oil wealth. The GDP. The trillions shared in Oasis comment. The excess wealth, after extricating expenditures for necessities, go towards supporting that "overpriced" real estate market.
As do the surging diaspora remittances.

It is pertinent to point out that this does not in any way suggest that premium real estate markets are fundamentally immune to crashes.
Conditions can deteriorate. House prices in DC are falling after Trump's federal workforce cuts.

However, if you predict Ikoyi prices will crash in 4-5 years.
You'll have to point out the factors that'll impel that outcome.

Cos conditions over the next decade suggest the opposite.

Imagine grown adult who thinks a Nigerian politician who Haa been a governor in Nigeria and did absolutely nothing as governor will become president and all the countries problem will be solved overnight. Is it delusion or just because the obi is from a particular section of the country that yet to produce a president in this democratic dispensation? If you're supporting obi because he's a business man then fine, don't come here to gaslight us that a failure like obi is different from Tinubu and others.
What I want you to confirm is if you accept that Bola Tinubu is subpar in governance.

I like the discourse on Twitter right now about the privilege of the political elite and billionaires.
Anything that leads to better class consciousness is a positive for the society.

The lesson her is; don’t let anyone sell you tales of wars they won without telling you the weapons they had as well.

Many also have the weapons but couldn't win a single battle. In fact coming from a privileged background can oftentimes serve as demotivation because you'll always feel like I have a fallback plan and not go all in to achieve your goals.

He literally rubbished the idea that anybody can jump from the third mainland bridge and survive . In his initial post he was yapping about law of physics and how anybody who attempted to jump off the third mainland bridge would die after googling the height of third mainland bridge .

It was only an after thought for him to start talking about highest point and lowest point . And that was because he saw evidence that someone actually did jump off the bridge .

The initial post he even reacted to was about a guy advertising opening for a stuntman to jump off the bridge for a movie scene and get paid .

Since the lowest point is easy to jump , maybe make him sef do and record am since it’s now the easiest thing to do in the world

True but there is always an overarching theme. The vast majority of the wealthy are those born into the wealth and privilege. While the other majority of the "self made" are usually those who somehow get themselves into circles of political power.
