Which Solar Generator Should I Go For by Afikoo(op): 12:03pm On Jul 15, 2025
Good day all. I want to get a portable solar generator to help power my starlink and fridge.

I came across Cola2000 and Ecoflow Delta 2 1800.

I read Ecoflow has expandable outlets where you can increase the voltage by getting extra batteries.

I need your submission and recommendations on the best solar generator right now and if it's advisable to get one

Re: Which Solar Generator Should I Go For by bigl: 6:24pm On Jul 15, 2025
Buy that ecoflow jeje for peace of mind ...

The stats are stated there ...

Delta 2
Capacity 1800watts
Battery Capacity 1024 Watts Hour

It has battery expansion port by the right side....

I am currently using the Delta 2 and is wired to my change over switch!

Powers my freezer 105 litres, Fridge - 95 litres, Tv, light etc

And you see the battery estimated time ...

The more load u mount, the shorter the battery life!!!

Its that simple!!

If u need more info, hit me up!!!

Get it from CD Care and spread the payment. Its about 685k when i got it!!!

U see that colasolar abi whats the name, the specs are shaddy jare ...

My 1 cent advise!

Ohh. Interesting that I Will be getting it on CDcare. How is the instalment payment on CDcare like. How long will it take for them to deliver the goods after paying 50%

What model of the ecoflow delta are you using that's powering your fridges ?

Again, what's the switch between NEPA and solar like. Is it fast
Re: Which Solar Generator Should I Go For by bigl:
Yeah ... you'll get it on cdcare. They do even nos: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 months!!

After 50% pay, & u are midway in payment plan date (if u pick 4 months, it will be delivered after 2 months, even if u pay 50% at once)

I did 2 months ... paid 50%, and 7th or 8th day, they brought it!

I have to cough out their balance by 22nd (extendable by 7 days grace = 29th) or else ... don't know what will happen sha
I had replied u earlier but its like one of the MODS deleted or hid my response and restricted me from even replying for hours ... maybe cos of links i posted there sha ...

I'm using the Delta 2 1800Watts with 1024 Watts/hour battery!

Yes, it does power my deep (chest) freezer and also my fridge ... I don't put all on at same time ... its mainly for the freezer (make things inside no spoil) ... if u load am well well, u get shorter battery life time but usually, with tv, home theatre, android tv box (airtel) and router = 64 watts ... u get around 6 hours plus ... sometimes, 14 hours (when fully charged) ...

I'm getting the extra battery sef for longer run time

The fact that the specs are all well written out without any hidden thing and also, i've watched tons of review ... especially from Miss techy ... that's what made me decide ....

Nurse no fear bro ... that delta 2 is a beast ... i wired it to a change over and i'm enjoying it!!! And there's a way to wire it to charge whenever nepa brings light ... and also, when u put on the gen, u can just reroute the charging plug ... I can explain it to you sha maybe on whatsapp ... before seun and his mods decide to ban me

Switch between nepa and solar?? I don't understand the question ...

NB- i had replied earlier but the post was either deleted or hidden ... and i was also restricted from posting or liking, for hours

My Boss can this carry 0.5 HP or 1.5HP pumping machine, I'm looking at this combo.

Re: Which Solar Generator Should I Go For by bigl: 1:33am On Aug 13, 2025
Well, it should but I've not tried it.

But since 1 hp = 746watts, it should comfortably handle half of that which is = 373watts

As regards the pumping machine, I'll be skeptical but it should cos there was a day we forgot to switch off our hot plate/electric cooker and I just noticed the guy showing 1500w being consumed and nothing happened to it sha ...

Check the pumping machine surge watts and that of your ecoflow, before trying it ...

I'll recommend the delta 2 max or delta pro, for a 1.5hp pumping machine

To be honest ecoflow did a wonderful job by being honest with the specs and giving us that in watss instead of the KVA scams out solar guys dey shout upandan ...

Anyway, let me know if it eventually works for your pumping machine
